Mr. Melowski is the likely the best attorney in WI for OWI cases. He fights every single fact in the case with everything from numerous motions filled showing precedents from many WI and federal cases to nuanced and thorough questioning of all parties involved. However, the outcome of my case was not solely based on his direct success with these avenues, but also through showing the district attorney that he is not a typical lawyer and unless the district attorney prioritizes fighting my case over all the other ones he had, he would not have the time, resources, and esoteric knowledge to continue fighting Mr. Melowski in court. When this was evident, I was offered a highly favorable, career-saving settlement, which I took.

His cross-examination of the arresting officer that night was extremely impressive. He made the officer look completely incompetent. With his closing argument Dennis was able to convince the judge that I should have never been pulled over in the first place. The judge had no choice but to agree and completely dismissed my case. I was completely shocked at the verdict. I had hopes that Dennis win my case, but realistically I didn’t Think it was possible. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate situation that you need to hire a lawyer, Dennis is the man for the job. I honestly do not think you will find a better lawyer in Wisconsin. I cannot thank Dennis enough for how he helped me and I will be forever grateful to him.
