I recommend Attorney Mehlos!

Attorney Mehlos helped me tremendously with a legal matter. He was thorough, professional, and efficient, and he used strategically the expertise of others in his firm and outside resources to complement his own work. I valued Attorney Mehlos' willingness to listen patiently, consider both the human and legal side of the issue, and then ultimately map out the best outcome among several alternatives. Attorney Mehlos works as hard as any professional I've met, and I highly recommend him.

Attorney Corey Mehlos is one of, nay, THE most upstanding, honest, caring, compassionate, trustworthy, diligent, hard-working lawyers I have ever known, and I come from a family of 3 lawyers. How do I know this? Ever heard of fireside chats? Well, I live in Florida, so I have no need for fires, but I always welcome a phone call from Mr. Mehlos J.D. which we converse about sports but then we always segway into our work and I can not begin to describe to you how much detail he covers from his work but mostly how much he truly cares about his clients. He truly embodies the mantra "man-for-others".

While he was working with the University of Wisconsin Innocence Project, Attorney Corey Mehlos worked on my criminal case for approximately two years during which time I had the truly great privilege of meeting and working with him on a frequent basis. At all times during our numerous face to face and phone conferences, as well as our written correspondence, Attorney Mehlos did consistently conduct himself in a highly professional and ethical manner and demonstrated a very good grasp of both the facts and the laws applicable to my complex case. What impressed me most however was Corey's professional demeanor, sincerity, and steadfast dedication to both the case and the concept of justice. Corey Mehlos consistently displayed a genuine concern for the very serious issues at hand, as well as for my own personal well being. I was over sixteen years in prison on a 42-year sentence and facing at least another 22-years in prison at minimum, but with his persistent zeal and demonstrated solid understanding of legal theories applicable to my case I was finally able to obtain freedom from unjust incarceration. Given his compassion for people, dedication to his profession, and his demonstrated tenacity, Corey Mehlos is both a very unique individual and an outstanding attorney.

One of the best things about this firm is that they are truly advocates for you in every sense of the word. They listen, affirm, and explain everything without all the jargon that can so often times come with anything regarding the legal cases. I felt supported and knew I was in good hands.

So far from my experience, Attorney Kelsi Cottle has been an over-the-top attorney. She keeps me apprised of my case, has answered my questions, and treats me with respect. She has been very efficient, handles things expediently, and I feel I am represented by a very sharp attorney who has my best interest in mind. I am fortunate to have her for legal representation.
