You are better off representing yourself. She waited until after telling me she would take my case AND getting paid that she was unfamiliar with the family laws of Trempealeau County. If you care at all about the best interest of your children stay clear of this one!

If I was given a choice I would have given 0 stars. A very poorly educated GAL. She was late to both appointments I had with her, she was rude and very disrespectful to say the least, and I was verbally attacked. She has absolutely zero knowledge of domestic violence. She slept during my trial, never contacted any of my reference and only spoke to my child for a total of a half hour. She refused to take into consideration any of my concerns which included alcoholism, verbal and physical abuse, anger issues as well as many others. She instead accused me of taking my concerns straight out of a horror book. Also trying to get her to return a phone call forget it. I waited sometimes a month for a response. Clearly one sided from the start. Incredible sad children have to suffer because of her negligence.

So Kerry Sullivan flock was hired as the guardian ad litem in a custody battle for 11 year old daughter. It seems she was in a situation at her mother's house where in there were involved abusive alcoholics and registered sex offenders. I already had primary physical placement of my daughter. I was looking to move her schooling from Sparta to Bangor. Where I was concerned about how things were being handled at the mother's house it turns out the mother did handle them very well. We get along great and happened to come to a heat agreement. Unfortunately had things been as bad as they seemed the kids would have been in great Danger. The recommendation by Kerry was to keep everything as is which would have led my daughter vulnerable had the place been unsafe. Kerry had dates times events and the people involved entirely misconstrued not by months but by years. Even first and last names were interchanged. Obviously she never researched these people's records. My ex and I sat down and laughed how incorrect everything was. It allowed us to open up and work things out so that was a hidden blessing. Irregardless this is a pretty tragic display of misrepresentation of the child and both of us parents agree. We were also asked to pay a price higher than the agreed-upon price for work that was entirely flawed. I would never recommend Kerry as a lawyer or a guardian ad litem.

Against the father from the start in a custody case. Didn't care about his concerns for his sons safety. Spent 1 hour at fathers house, and over 4 at mothers. Talked to child Mrs. Flock was GAL for at the mothers house several times instead of a natural place. Targeted a teen step-son, on the fathers side, who she never talked to. Mothers new husband is a meth-head and that wasn't a concer on Mrs. Flock. Mothers youngest child would leave bite marks and big bruises on child involved in case and Mrs. Flock didn't care. Don't receive statements until a year after court was done, and there's charges made after that date. Statements aren't even detailed like they should be. She refused to hear anything new the father would find out, but bent over backwards for the mother. Apprently a mother who kicks her husband out and brings home random hits them brings back druggy step-dad is safer than a father who has a stable marriage, doesn't do drugs or drink.

Mr. Niemeier and his firm provided me amazingly dedicated, professional, and persistent legal representation, resulting in the best outcome that I could have hoped for. Based on my surprisingly favorable outcome, after having to delay my compliance on numerous occasions, it is evidenct that he and his firm have great contacts and respect in the courthouse and in the community. Highly recommended.
