Set expectations from day one as the process can be cumbersome as the time lines can range depending on which officer is assigned to our case. Checking in to let us know timelines as they changed as to manage expectations.
EXTREMELY knowledgeable, as a client I was always confident that she knew the answer with anything I threw her way from various types of topics.
Professional candor from the moment we meet her, polite, well spoken and always made us feel like her #1 priority.
Care - she really added a simple but human touch to make sure we felt that she was doing the best she could to help us. Taking an interest in our story and customizing her approach to our needs
Excellent communication throughout the process, her response times to our questions (and we had a lot, god bless her) and keeping us update with any relevant news.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carl. He has been my Work Comp. attorney since 2009-2010 and worked on my case diligently to get to arbitration in order to keep my medical rights open (after sustaining a severe arm injury and subsequent surgeries beginning in 2005.) Since arbitration, there have been a handful of times over the years where I have needed additional help and support in getting the continued and subsequent medical care I need and to which I am entitled. He has and continues to be nothing but extremely kind, patient, helpful and caring. He is also no-nonsense in his responses to my former employer and their Work Comp. insurance provider, and extremely professional in all interactions. He always takes care of things in a timely (and often very fast) manner, and is honestly just one of the most genuinely personable and caring attorneys I have ever met. I could not continue to “fight” this seemingly never ending battle as a result of my original injury and subsequent surgeries and procedures without him. I honestly would be lost without him.
Know that if you value compassion, respect, and kindness, along with someone who gets things done, Carl should be your attorney. No question. Of course my hope is always that I don’t have to continue this fight; but when I need someone in my corner, he is always there.

My husband passed from Covid which he contracted at a business Conference. In California, if a spouse passes due to a Worker’s Compensation injury… The surviving spouse receives $250,000 from the board if the spouse makes less than 30,000 a year! I did not meet the income requirement And therefore did not automatically receive the death benefit. Attorney More negotiated a settlement with the insurance company's attorney. Without Attorney More I would’ve received nothing. Attorney More is a very passionate and considerate man who stands up and fights for what is right!

I would like to thank the Injured Workers’ Law Firm for the work they did for me. Even though my worker’s comp case was settled in 2012 I was presented with a letter that offered me a settlement for the remaining years. Because I was also receiving additional benefits it was not just a yes or no decision. In contacting the firm and being accepted as a client by Michele Lewane I was assigned to Legal Assistant Emily Busch and Attorney Lorraine D’Angelo. They reviewed all my information and directed me to other contacts to help me make my finally decision. They did not make the choice for me but help me understand what the long-term effect would be on my finance going forward. Look no further. I was in need of an attorney when my Workers Compensation denied my case twice. I was frustrated and worried. Thankfully my wife heard an advertisement on a Christian radio station and she saved the contact information. I set an appointment and brought in all my paperwork I had been saving. I needed an attorney to take on Keenan and Associates, well known for their history of deny and force settlement. I also had an old case, initial injury in 2007, past time limits for filing another claim due to disability that had spread from my original injury. My 2 requirements were a law office that was Christian based and had successfully fought and won against Keenan and Associates. I found that with Mr. Steve Meline and Mr. Sean Vargas. The staff at their office was always courteous, and I truly did call alot for status. They helped me to understand the laws and what to expect. Mr. Meline came up with a way to put pressure on Keenan and to help create the environment to want to settle in my favor, and Mr. Sean Vargas took it from there, was at all the hearings, deposition and an awesome negotiator! An appeal was submitted to the State Work comp board by their office and the State overturned the previous denials that the Dr's office couldn't even get done. I knew exactly what was happening, what to expect and the outcome was amazing! Due to their experience, both are familiar with high ranking Corporate Attorneys, and Sean Vargas knew just how to work with them on my behalf. We just settled and we are thrilled to be out of the work comp fiasco so I can finally get the right care by my Dr for CRPS. CRPS is hard to prove and very debilitating and painful. We always ended discussions with prayer for the right outcome and our prayers were answered. If you want experienced, competent, knowledgeable attorneys, with the added grace of true faith in doing the right thing, I highly recommend their office! I certainly could have waited to write this review until the lawsuit I'm involved in has wrapped up (I'm a defendant). Hopefully that will be in the next couple of months. But I feel compelled to say something at this point because I want to acknowledge that the way Attorney Moss handles things, the way his mind works, and the way things are explained to me, has helped keep my stress level down, and has greatly abated the angst I feel as my court date approaches, three years into a law suit that I should never have been included in. Attorney Rodabaugh explained to me (in a way that I could understand), the process when it came to my claim. In my almost 30 years of working, I'd never had to deal with a Workers comp claim. I was overwhelmed as well as dealing with my injury. I don't drive and he was willing to meet with me at the local library to review the process. Having someone there to help me go through this process, helped with some of the anxiety of not only what was going on with this case but also the fact of dealing with a medical issue in my family. Attorney Rodabaugh was able to get the hearing moved because I wouldn't have been able to go through the hearing in the current state I was in.

I’d like to take a moment to thank all the folks at Brizendine Law Office for their fantastic representation. This was my first time being involved in anything like this and was completely out of my element. I didn’t know how anything would work and what the process would be like.
Paul, Heather, and Janelle went above and beyond in explaining how my case would proceed. Anytime I had a question, I always felt I could reach out to them. When I did, they would get back to me almost immediately. Often within a couple hours with the answer I sought.

In May if 2019, I was in a car accident where I was T-boned by someone who ran a stop sign. I was referred to Brian by a close friend and began the process of filing a complaint against the opposing insurance company for the horrendously low settlement offer I received from them.
Coming into this case, I was naive and unaware of the legal processes involved in such an endeavor. I thought, “Well the driver admitted fault, the damage is recorded, this will be easy”. I had absolutely no idea that my accident would have become such a battle to receive money lost. And that battle was fought tooth and nail by Brian and his team for me.
We were in the middle of this process when the pandemic hit, which added another layer of complications and delays to everything. It took almost 3 years to get to the end of this settlement.
Brian and Jenna, whom I worked with the most personally, were kind and patient with my unending questions, compassionate with my frequent emotional meltdowns, and kept me in the loop with my case regularly, knowing how much stress it was bringing me in my personal life, I didn’t feel in the dark. Brian had even come in on his day off just to meet with me and hear me cry about how unfair everything was. That’s a patient man. He wasn’t scared to tell me the truth of the arduous process we were in, even if I didn’t want to accept it, something I appreciated a lot.
Anytime I had to come into the office, I was met warmly by Jenna, who always remembered me and my case. It never felt like a stuffy or cold lawyers office. I even met another individual who worked on my case behind the scenes that I was unaware of, he was very kind and happy to meet me, which made me feel that much more secure knowing Brian’s team was truly invested in my case.
I never felt like I was just another number or just a client. I felt like Brian and Jenna genuinely cared about me as a person, they were truly fighting for me and my case. And to be quite candid, I believe they gave me more time and effort than they ever got compensated for after everything was said and done. But that didn’t stop them from treating me like family. Brian never stopped fighting for me even when we knew I wasn’t going to receive what we hoped I would.
I have learned through this process, the system is absolutely flawed, ugly, unfair, and will make you insane. That is just the truth. I was a little fish in an ocean of sharks. The system isn’t set up for us. You ***need*** someone like Brian, like Jenna, who are aware of those flaws, and are still willing to go in and fight an uphill battle for you, which is exactly what they did for me.

First , after going through this workers comp ordeal I would not encourage anyone to try and navigate through that without a Attorney !!!
