So, I walked into Amanda's office in distress roughly six years ago having just had my house torn apart and by the DEA, the majority of the small fortune I had amassed already confiscated. My workers comp case involved many labor hours to conclude, and Mr. Rosenbaum worked tirelessly and endlessly to ensure I was compensated for a life-changing injury. To make this short,
I came to John, 2 weeks out of my 2nd back surgery, in dire need for legal help that I was not getting from somebody else. Immediately I hired John feeling that he would be the one to actually care about my needs and wants in this suffering I have been going through, in this CRAZY world of workers-comp. He has done things for me that I can guarantee no one else would. He's persistent with anything/everything I needed approved, gave me the latest updates immediately, always answered all my questions and was always there just to discuss the case in person. My now former employer was very unhelpful with managing my claim; in fact, I had been told by their assigned doctor that he was "not buying it" and I was left out in the cold. Attorney Scully was very knowledgeable and experienced with Work Comp claims. I so appreciated that I could have a phone appointment at my convenience. He listened to all my concerns. I was So relieved to have an attorney fighting for my best interest. There was much I was not aware of. I chose to have an attorney due to the aforementioned issue. I stopped receiving calls from Work Comp as they were putting alot of pressure on me to get back to work. I was told by Mr. Berlin the owner on the initial phone consult that I would be real glad I got an Attorney. I am so happy with my final settlement, all Attorney Scully did for me. One specific example is I have a portable Tens Unit that is So effective in bringing pain levels down and accelerating the healing process. I will continue to heal, now with the settlement no concerns to rush into another job. I can just relax, take care of myself, having no financial concerns.

I contacted Jose when he worked for another firm a couple years ago. He understood the dire and time sensitive situation I was in. He was honest and up front with me that taking my case on such short notice, while he would do his best, he cannot commit as many resources as he would like given the short turn around time and the other cases on his plate. Having said that, he said he would take my case, but just wanted me to be aware that he might not be able to do the job 100% like he would normally do. But he also referred me to another disability lawyer in case I wanted someone who could dedicate more time to my case.
Ultimately, I chose to go with the other lawyer he referred me to because I wanted a lawyer who could dedicate his full attention to my case. And I successfully won my disability appeal. So it is clear that Jose had no ego in referring me to another very good lawyer.
I really appreciated Jose's honesty and up front nature. And the amount of time he spent helping me even though he got nothing out of it.
If Jose says he can take your case, you can be assured he will dedicate the proper amount of attention unless he tells you otherwise.

I am 53 and have suffered back issues and surgeries for 24 years. I am at the point in life where I can't take much more day to day pain. In researching about long term disability I realized this is not a "game" the average person should play alone. Honestly I did not want to spend money as I have spent thousands on medical bills this year alone. Mr. Caballe made me feel comfortable from the start of the conversation. It was encouraged that my wife participate and he included her throughout the conversation. He pointed out so many areas that I never would have thought about or considered regarding the process of filing and collection LTD. How Social Security most likely will become part of the process and the fact that I do not have to totally stop living to be considered disabled, and ways to handle that. He also told me that I most likely will have additional questions after our meeting and to feel free to call or email him and he will respond. This single outreach says to me that it is about the client and not just the money. He treated us the way both my wife and I treat people. If I need to move forward with a disability claim, I only have one phone call to make and that is comforting.

I had something fall on me at a big box store and it had injured my foot. The big box store said that they would take care of everything in the store and then when I talked to the insurance adjuster, he said they were not accepting liability at that time. I did not know what to do so I reached out to Dudley and Smith. Katherine agreed to take on my case. She was very upfront about the yearlong process and communicated the updates along the way. TJ Reinhardt was a Law Clerk who helped on my case, and he was amazing and helped me with my effects on life. Very easy to talk to and quick to respond. If Katherine was unavailable, someone in the office would help me or she would get back to me quickly. When you get injured, it is a long journey to heal and a lot of appointments to get healthy again. It is frustrating when the situation could have been avoided if the big box store had safer protocols. Having Katherine on my case made me feel much better and I am grateful to her and her team.

I suffered a knee injury at work 4/2018. Over a period of months my knee weakened & I was told by my doctor, I needed a replacement. My employer disagreed. I had no idea on how worker’s compensation worked.
I sent the same email to 7 attorneys. Only one responded-Jeff. My email was full of dates & names of who was told what & when. It also contained my employers responses. Jeff said the detail & amount of information in my initial email made my case. Jeff walked me through the process.
