Very knowledgeable about Estate law.

Even though I contacted Joe on very short notice, he was very patient and took my case. After that it was very smooth sailing as Joe is very easy to talk to, does what he says he will do, communicates, and actually picks up the phone. Joe is very fair, professional, knowledgeable, and he gets results. Very glad to have hired him, and he is highly recommended.

Mr wheeler was supposed to represent my son in court and he never showed up .That was very unprofessional and never returned any of my calls I called for 2 months to discuss my son's case.he wanted my son to just sit in jail didn't fight for him at all.thats not how you treat someone.he comes off as if he is willing to help but then nothing happens.if you are going to defend a person defend them that's the job you took .

Several years ago, I entered into a verbal agreement which allowed someone to rent my home. When I was ready to sell the property, the renter refused to vacate. Attorney Sommo prepared, filed and represented my interest in any and all court filings. The process was extremely tedious. During the whole time, Attorney Sommo was professional, courteous and patient. He explained every step being taken and on occasions where clarification was needed, he repeated those steps. As a client, what I found most important was his promptness to respond to every challenge, his consistent communication during the process, and his willingness to follow-thru until physical possession of my property was restored. I live in Texas and have a grandson in Birmingham, AL who needed legal council for getting custody privileges for his son. I was given a couple of names and when I called Joe Somma; he had me at hello. He is very professional but at the same time endearing. He discussed what would need to take place; very clearly outlined the process. At time things got a little contentious but Mr. Somma was always calm and calmed me. If I disagreed with something, we talked it out and if he agreed with what I said he would reroute the course. What I appreciated most was that he explained everything to me , making I understood what each step meant and didn’t proceed until it was clear that I did. I felt he was looking out for the best interest of our case. He is very fair and I felt honest. Mr.Somma’s fees are fair. Our case was settled with the satisfaction of both sides which I feel is rare. He is that willing to work to that end.

My sister passed away unexpectedly and Joe was the first person I called and thankfully my hunt for an estate attorney was over. Joe has truly gone above and beyond to help me understand how Probate works and just how much leg work is involved. I personally, didn't have a clue as to just how much work goes into all this stuff...... short & sweet I couldn't have accomplished everything for my sister's estate with Joe. Thanks again!
