I hired Greg based on his commercials I saw on TV. I believed he was an advocate for men's and fathers rights. He proved to be to the total opposite. Greg failed to fight for me. He showed up late to my court dates or did not show at all. He dealt with my divorce case with a slack hand but and allowed my ex-wife's attorney to make all the decisions. Not only that but I could never get in contact with him. He was always out the office. When I had questions, he legal clerk tried to answer them whose advice I did not pay for! I would not recommend Greg to anyone who truly cares about getting their divorce settled. This man will take your money and do little to nothing to help you in your case. Buyer Beware!

I met with Greg starkey in April 2014 for about 20minites. He explained bankruptcy to me, I gave him my paperwork. He informed me that once I paid half the fees he would start filing my bankruptcy. I paid $800 of the $1200. He then told me I had to pay in full before anything was started. nothi g was ever filed. I requested my $800 back, it took over 2 months and multiple emails for him to tell me he would refund 'part' of my money. He gave me $400 back and claimed the other went toward legal representation. When I asked him what 'representation' Bc he had done nothing.... he claimed he sent me letter and made phone calls to me and that he had started the filing process. Which he had done NONE of those. Waiting for an explanation and proof of these letters, calls, and filing.

Mr. Starkey stepped into my case with a strong hand and really advocated for my rights. I ended up winning custody of my two children because of this firm. I highly recommend the Birmingham Men's Law Firm.

I used Greg Starkey for a chapter 13 case. He was totally inept and unprofessional. He missed hearings and was unprepared. It took 6 months to get the case confirmed. He sent in wrong payroll deduction order and had twice the amount taken out of my check. I had to contact trustee to ask for money back. I requested a modification after income decreased and additional medical expenses. He refused to do it and said vet another attorney. Bottom line he withdrew from case and left me in worst shape than I was going in after paying 15,000 in one year. I got another attorney and refiling with considerably lower payments. The worst part is he had no concern for the plight I was in.
