Was asked to complete a job and get paid after the closing, once the work was completed and we came to pick up payment i was told it wasn’t available? And that they have no idea where my money is. As a vendor a buyer or a seller this should raise red flags, a real estate attorney should be able to not lose money that was given to them for safekeeping. Vendors, sellers, and buyers shouldn’t have to worry and stress about an attorney losing their hard earned money. In response to owner comment. I appreciate the response, I wonder if I could get clarity on these aspects of the issue. Outside the fact that I had to bring it to your attention. 1) Why was the Closing Statement changed without the buyers agents approval? I personally would not want to close at an office that changed paperwork without my realtors knowledge. Home buying/selling process is stressful enough. 2) Why did your Paralegal, Sherry Singleton laugh and respond "we are not paying that" when it was brought to her attention that she wired the money away? I have copies of the Original Closing Disclosure, addendum and emails proving the Closing Statement was changed without the realtors knowledge. I am happy to post them if prompted. Thank you for returning the money.
