A little over a year ago, I was hit by a car while on my road bike. The car was going the wrong way on a one way street, however, I did run through a stop sign because the intersection looked clear. Because I biked this route daily, I never thought that there would be a vehicle heading the wrong direction. As a result, I was severely injured; my collar bone was fractured, I suffered a severe abrasion on my left arm, had a major concussion (luckily, I wear a helmet), and nerve damage to my left shoulder. After a year and quite a bit of physical therapy, I still cannot fully lift my left arm. Being an avid cyclist and rock climber, this was a major hinderance. Ben told me in all honesty that this was not a clear and cut case. I knew that I was in fault for running the stop sign, but Ben fought hard and we were able to settle outside of court. The settlement covered all my medical expenses and I received a handsome amount for my suffering. Every time I called Ben he was on top of it; filling me in on the details of the case and what was very transparent on what would happen from one day to the next. He was always straightforward and honest and, quite frankly, did not bullshit me at all. I am 100% happy with the way he and Marsh, Rickard, and Bryan handled this case. I couldn't be more pleased.
