I made my decision to select Cox Disability based on the initial phone consultation. Ms. Cox explained the SSDI requirements and processes in a clear and precise way that I could understand. Ms. Cox and the staff members helped me with the filing process. They knew what documentation and required paperwork I would need. They provided excellent support helping me to complete the SSDI forms and answering the questions about my disability. Most of all they took the time to guide me. They were responsive to my emails and phone calls. I always felt comfortable with “How” they managed the process. I was approved for SSDI benefits and it was because of the support from the associates, their knowledge of the paperwork, and the level of comfort I had during the whole process. I can't say how thankful I am for Mr. Burke and Monica at this firm. I was denied my Long Term Disability August 2017. I started my appeal with a different local law firm who sat on it and did nothing for months. I was referred to Mr. Harvey and retained him to help me with my case. Because I had wasted so much time with the other local firm and a fast approaching deadline to get my appeal in he and Monica worked overtime to get my appeal in. I am happy to say and blessed for them and their great work my denial for my LTD was overturned. If you are looking for the best at what they do call them first.

After battling the SSA alone for almost 3 years, I made a decision to hire a professional. I am not the type to appreciate the ridiculous loudmouths you see on TV. I wanted a serious professional. I found that, and more, in Janet Cox. She put me at ease immediately, and professionally and respectfully questioned me about my health and limitations. She patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions, and prepared me well for the grueling SSA hearing. I cannot imagine ever entering into this process without her professional guidance. I feel certain that my appeal would not have been successful without her experienced assistance.

Very caring people very professional but they have your back that helps a lot. I'd say if you have a need for a good attorney for yourself talk with them.

I wouldn't recommend this law firm to anyone. I have an SSI case that I contacted Mrs Cox about, after speaking to her on the phone she explained that she would be sending me a new client packet. She explained how important it was that I get that packet back to her immediately because of the 60 day deadline to file the appeal. She never sent the packet and wouldn't respond to my email. Where I have a real problem is that all she had to do is respond and let me know that she didn't want the case. But she was not professional enough to at least tell me that she wouldn't be taking my case so i could be looking for another attorney before my deadline. I hope this review helps other people when they are looking for a disability attorney.
