I have been blessed to have partnered with some wonderful employees at your firm during my Social Security Disability Case: • D. Brian Smith, Managing Attorney, Disability Practice • Megan Y. Seaton, Attorney Disability Practice • Kelly Parker, Case Manager • Vanessa Ricaurte, VA Disability Legal Assistant Each above-mentioned employee played a role in obtaining a “win” on my case, especially Megan Y. Seaton, Attorney Disability Practice. Ms. Seaton was wonderful to work with. Her expertise and professional demeanor served as an integral part in winning my case. The original submission for my Social Security Disability was denied and a hearing was scheduled. I am grateful that your firm prepared me in advance for such a scenario and walked me through what actions would follow to prepare for the hearing. While attending the hearing, I was able to speak to another individual in the waiting room that informed me that her son had been denied three (3) times—this was his fourth attempt. My heart went out to her because I could not imagine having to wait for a decision from the Administrative Law Judge for such a long-extended period of time. Talk about patience! I pray all went well for that family. My hearing was successful, and I received a “Fully Favorable” decision awarded by the Administrative Law Judge that was assigned to my case. Praise God!!! We could not have asked for better news; and the blessing is that after I received the letter from the ALJ, Social Security worked expediently to ensure there was not a delay in receiving the funds that were due to me. Currently, I have a Personal Injury Case still opened with your firm, and I expect nothing less than AMAZING work with favorable results as you have demonstrated thus far. Our settlement was just enough to cover medical fees, but somehow unexpected we both received settlement checks.
