I made an appt with Meredith Rucker back when I was served divorce papers this would be my very first time meeting her. I needed representation of my own. I set the appt up with a male receptipnist/paralegal(he was very professional and handle the situation with extreme tacfullness. We had a confirmed date and time and I always try to keep appts out of respect for other persons time. I arrived early to begin paperwork that the gentlemen gave me. I waited in lobby for 20 -30 mins waiting. He finally called her to see where she was and that she had a scheduled appt in the books. She was not available and I was under the impression she had forgotten by the conversation between her paralegal and her. If she was truly sick or an emergency had happened I would have understood that. But I was NOT notified that she was going to be out that day or had a court case or any word regarding her absence. The receptionist/paralegal also seemed puzzled as to why she didn't make appt and he seemed shocked and unaware she wasn't going to be available. I have no idea if this is a normal thing for her to forget appt or be a no show, but I would not waste time making one and risking the same situation. He asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said absolutely not. When people ask about family law attorneys I would never recomend her. It was very unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time I put forth to be there. Also I never once got a call after this incident from her apologizing for missing appt. To me that would have been. The most professional thing to do is reach out to that person. Possibly, had she have reached out to me after the no show I might have thought differently of her and the situation. But never did I get a word after that incident.

It was a long fought victory and I would not recommend anyone other than Miss Rucker to represent me or anybody that is fighting for the custody of their children! Sometimes it takes longer than normal because of overcrowding and overbooking but that is no fault of the attorney that is because there are so many cases and so few judges but she never gave up on me never gave up on my fight and I have my children now thanks to her!!!

She is the most caring Attorney I have ever met. There is no Attorney I would trust more with the welfare of my children.
