My wife and daughter was seriously injured in an auto accident that claimed the life of the person that struck them. He was travelling at a high rate of speed on the wrong side of the road. My 11 year old daughter suffered a broken back and my wife had multiple broken bones and endured several surgeries, she was wheelchair bound for 6 months.
