Who is Frederick Keith Meigs? This quote sums him up. “The greatest want of the world is the want of men—men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call injustice, wrongdoings, and/or error by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.” Frederick Keith Meigs is one of those men, particularly in a profession that society often views biased. Keith, thank you for taking my case, for representing me, and for your continued support post trial.

You truly won’t find a better attorney out there than Keith Meigs. Keith represented me throughout my divorce and custody battle, and I couldn’t have asked for a someone better to represent me. Keith is the most standup guy. hE approaches the situation not just from AN attorney perspective, but from a REAL person’s perspective too. He understands the gravity of the situation when it comes to divorce because he’s a husband and a father himself, so he gets it. Keith treats his clients on the personal level. He truly had the best interest of my son and me at heart the entire time. Keith knows my son by name and knows everything about my son’s specific personality and needs. Keith used that knowledge and was able to help me decide what would be best for my son as far as custody, visitation, holidays, medical needs, child support, etc., go. Keith doesn’t just go by the “standard” terms of divorce and child custody – he knows that what works for one child, won’t necessarily work for a different child. Keith catered to my son’s specific needs. Honestly, Keith’s main focus the whole time was the wellbeing of my son. Keith made sure we did whatever was necessary to make sure my child was the ultimate priority. Keith isn’t one of those attorneys who drags your case out forever just so he can rack up your bill. He isn’t like that. He gets his client’s cases resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible. He won’t rush through your case, but won’t let it drag out for no reason either. Efficiency and fairness are his goal. When dealing with my ex-wife and her attorney, Keith was nice and respectful, but firm at the same time. He has the heart of a lion and refuses to back down. He’s straight up and takes no nonsense. He advocates for what’s right. He wasn’t afraid to stand up for my son or me as long as it’s what was right. He really, truly cares. I didn’t even think there were attorneys like that out there anymore. I was very impressed by Keith’s accessibility. He’s an excellent communicator. He even gave me his personal cell number so I didn’t have to go through a secretary or anyone else to get in touch with him. Anytime I asked him to call or text me, I always got a response that day, usually within just an hour or so. That was very comforting to me as a client because I didn’t have to sit around waiting to hear back from him. Keith is super intelligent, but he makes sure you understand everything about your case. If anything is confusing to you, he finds a way to bring it to your exact level of understanding. There’s no confusing, fancy legal jargon. He makes sure you understand/agree with everything. He’s the kind of guy that if you have no idea how to get an attorney and don’t know what makes an attorney good or bad, you just want someone who’s honest and will stand up for you and isn’t just trying to rack up a huge bill – Keith is it. Keith is who you want in your corner. Even if you think you can’t afford an attorney, it’s worth your time to at least give Keith a call. He’s extremely reasonable and will work with you however he can. He’s not there for some huge payout. He just wants what’s right and wants to make sure you get everything you deserve. He’s kind, respectful, and his character is second to none. He’s just a genuine person and a good human being. He was amazing to me as an attorney and friend. Mr. Meigs was a Blessing from another Great attorney. He saved me from a nasty Divorce and Public Humiliation. Through everything during my separation from my husband Mr. Meigs was always there for me. Are you safe? I'd say Yes, for now A year and a half separation ended in Mediation. But no matter what kind of advice I needed... Mr. Meigs was always there. I highly recommend Frederick Keith Meigs for any advice or legality! Even through his hardships he had to endure... Where do I begin?? My minor son and I are Tennessee residents and my child’s Father lives in Huntsville, AL. To say this case was convoluted would be a gross understatement. Interstate cases are complex! From initial contact with Mr. Meigs via a phone call, I knew he was the correct attorney for my case. During the phone call I never felt rushed. He asked clarifying questions to ensure that he completely understood my circumstance and what my goals were. Before Keith, I had other attorneys. What I will always remember is how he called my son by his name and even spoke with him over the phone so my son would know what to expect and feel comfortable should he need to testify. He never coaches my son and always reminded him to tell the truth regardless. Court would make any minor nervous, but not with an attorney like Keith. He cared about my son enough to make sure he had an opportunity to ask any questions he needed to in an effort to calm his fears and nerves. To this day, my son remembers Keith fondly simply because he involved him rather than treating him like just another kid like many attorneys do. Keith is a hyper communicator! I loved it! Again, this is stressful no matter who your attorney is, but Keith really made sure to walk my son and I through this entire process from start to finish. The day of court, Keith was thoroughly prepared and I was confident in his abilities to present the facts while maintaining the best interest of the child. My son was LITERALLY chased by his Dad in the courthouse and it terrified him. Keith witnessed everything and he literally ran after him to protect my son and diffuse the situation. He did exactly that! He was able to get everyone back on track so we could move forward with the court proceeding. Court itself went great. Again, Keith was thoroughly prepared and had all applicable documentation at his fingertips to present to the Judge. Ultimately, the other attorney for my son’s Dad requested the Judge dismiss their own filings/motions. I call that a victory! I would HIGHLY recommend Keith Meigs for any case in which you want the best! There truly aren’t enough words to express my gratitude for his help! If you’re looking for a custody, child support, interstate case, etc…..Keith is your guy!! Look no further. Unfortunately, my son’s Father is once again in contempt of the Judge’s order, but that’s okay. I’m hiring Keith again!! He makes a miserable situation tolerable.
