Unexpected divorce is never an easy thing. Parties disagree with one another and even an uncontested divorce can get drawn out out due to other attorneys apparently not explaining the law to their clients, like my case. Melissa explained to me what my rights were and went over everything with me step by step. It was a difficult thing to go through, but it was made easier because her office took the time to explain how the process works. Even ideally, divorce can become a mess. I'm thankful to Melissa and her paralegal for making it as painless of a process as it could have been.

I don't know where to even start. I interviewed 4 lawyers Melissa being the last. I did my homework and didn't want just any talking head that would separate me from my money as easy as possible. After talking to Melissa the first time I realized she was the one. She and her paralegal Alicia made my divorce go as smooth as possible. I see it like this, I filed for divorce in Alabama against a woman and just knew I would be destroyed. Nope that didn't happen. Though my ex wife affectionately referred to as the defendant dragged the divorce out for almost a year.
