First talk via telephone, maybe 20 minutes, all was understood, and agreements made. Attorney Blanchard took close and serious interest in my case; two visits to the City, each with a short Court session, and it was all done. My husband and I hired William Blanchard to defend our adult son in a homicide case. My son suffers from a serious mental illness, and was in need of an experienced attorney. He brought in a forensic psychologist immediately to evaluate my son which was an important part of his defense. Mr. Blanchard provided an excellent defense resulting in a verdict that was the appropriate verdict for my son’s condition. Since my son’s verdict, Mr. Blanchard has followed his progress through the mental health system, and has represented him at all court proceedings. In addition to his professional services, Mr. Blanchard has displayed compassion to my son and to us as we have progressed through this very difficult situation.
