We used Brenton and team to update our trust when relocating to Alabama. He did a great job of explaining the differences between where we lived previously and made sure everything would flow smoothly in the future.

Wasted my time. I have existing will, trust, and POA docs that were written 5 years ago in another state. I wanted to get them reviewed and updated now that we have moved to AL. I called and asked if they had an approximate cost for this work. I was told that I could meet with a lawyer to review and they could give me a quote. I was asked to fill out extensive intake forms that took me over an hour to complete. I also uploaded copies of my existing documents. We went to the meeting and first spoke with a paralegal who asked to clarify what wanted done. We reiterated our desire to have documents reviewed and updated. Then the very junior attorney came in, and asked the same questions. No one had reviewed anything that I took the time to submit well in advance. After reiterating what we needed done, they told us that it would be $350 an hour, and they would be unable to tell us how many hours until they did the work!!! Maybe an hour, maybe more, just depended on what they found when they reviewed the documents. I spent over three hours of my time preparing for, driving to, and having this meeting, to be given no information. And while I appreciate the need to train new associates, I am not going to entrust care of my estate to someone with one year of experience.

We recently met with Brenton McWilliams to discuss estate planning. It was a true pleasure to meet with someone who was so professional, answered all our questions and was able to draft the documents we needed. His office assistant, Sarah was friendly, thorough and very personable. On our return visit we met with Brent Helms, who is new to the firm to sign our final documents. We appreciated his professionalism and how thoroughly he explained our documents and answered further questions. Working with their office was a great experience and I would highly recommend their office for help in assisting your family for legal work.

We needed to update our wills, POAs Healthcare Directives after 20 yrs. A neighbor had a good experience, so we made an appointment. Our previous documents were from another state. Also Alabama has different rules. So a trust was created for our Alabama property. Other financial steps were completed, as well as new trustees. We were very pleased with all the Orange Beach staff with their help.
