Cartee & Lloyd assisted me when I was involved in a hit and run. Thankfully I was able to get a good picture of the license plate before the driver drove off. More recently, they assisted me when someone who did not have insurance, caused me to hit them. Mr. Lloyd represented me for a personal injury claim following a car accident. My insurance took much longer than expected to review my case, but John was patient and communicative throughout the process. If I called his office, either he or Maria spoke with me that day and John returned emails same day or next day. I have been very impressed with communication, something I think Cartee & Lloyd excelled in. For my case, John asked many questions, took thorough notes, and used calendar reminders to keep me and my insurance updated on the progress of my case. My case settled 18 months after my injury and he checked in at least monthly, even if there was no progress in the case to report. John was great at explaining legal terminology in a way that I could understand to ensure I knew the options presented to me. He listened and honored my wishes not to file a lawsuit. I was involved throughout my case and felt more comfortable because of the high level of communication from John and Maria. My case settled and I was awarded over 80% of the total insurance money available to me. I am very pleased with the outcome and my experience with Cartee & Lloyd. While I hope to never need his services again, I highly recommend Mr. Lloyd as a personal injury attorney in Tuscaloosa. He was knowledgeable, direct and trustworthy-- the qualities I looked for in an attorney.
