The day you need a lawyer is probably not one of the best days of your life. I know that for me at least, I was nervous. Maybe even scared. I felt like I was up against something way too big for me to handle, and I needed help. All the possibilities going through my mind of all the bad things that might happen were overwhelming. I just needed someone to listen and give me some hope. I am so thankful that I called Jeremy Knowles. He listened, even when I started droning on and on about all my worries and fears. I would like to say thank you to Jeremy Knowles and his staff.they did everything they could possibly do to help us with my mother's case. They treated us like family and I would recommend them to everyone. It's been thirteen years and they still check in on us. We love and respect them all dearly.They helped us through one of the hardest times in our lives.

6months later here we are and today my mother finally gets the call from these attorneys, also after my mother had to go to uab hospital to get medical records herself and even had to deliver them to the lawyer office in Birmingham, now after all this time and all the calling he calls to tell my mother that with the 2 current cases he is working on that he don't have the time to invest into this big of a lawsuit, I find it a bit horrible that an attorney would show up at a hospital cicu unit and look a dying girl in the face and literally promise her that he is going to do everything in his power to get justice for her. Amd now 5 months after she dies he calls to tell my mother he is not taking the case. To be a multi million dollar lawfirm you'd think that they would atleast keep their word. Guess the old saying about lawyers really do apply to all lawyers. Truly is a shame . I couldn't imagine looking a person in the eye and saying that I will do everything in my power to get you justice amd the person pass away and string their family on for 6 whole months and then have the nerve to call and tell the grieving mother you can't take her case. I personally wouldn't be able to sleep at night. Thanks for nothing randy haynes except wasting 6 months of our time for nothing!

In 2021, 7 hours after giving birth to my son I fell. After months of rehabilitation. I reached out to Slocumb Law Firm and was connected to Nelson Johnson. Best decision i ever made. So far it's going on 4 months since Mr.Haynes showed up at UAB Hospital where my sister was hospitalized due to a tracheal perforation and double lung puncture caused by the emergency room of a different hospital. Mr. Haynes showed up to my sisters SICU room to speak to my mother and sister about what happened, well he was very nice very willing and polite, he stood before my mother at my sister at her bedside and told them both that he "would do everything in his power to make sure she was givin justice for what happened to her", 4 months later and calling every week he has not himself spoke to my mother in the numerous times every week since that she has contacted his office to speak to him, the receptionist claims she will give him a message to call back and here we are 4 months no calls whatsoever, my sister died in the CCICU from her injuries 53 days after her admittance to uab hospital. We have tried to find out if they have received any medical records yet which they have from the at fault hospital, but are telling my mother that she has got to get the medical records from uab for them, never Hurd of a huge lawfirm wanting a client to get their own medical records, anyways at this point we are just wanting to know what is going on, we have had no answers from anyone but a receptionist that obviously does not give messages to the boss, and can't return a simple phone call. I understand cases like this take time alot of time in some cases, but also attorneys stay in contact with their clients and not leave them hanging and wondering. At this point we don't know what to think. Never seen any lawfirm that does not stay in contact with their clients, I hate to leave a low score review but maybe this will get a return phone call for my mother since she's called every week with no answers of what happening or where we are at on her case,

My experience with Slocumb Law Firm was a process.Overall I gotta thank Nelson Johnson for putting in the best effort to help my case follow through. I definitely would recommend this Law Firm to my family ,friends, or anyone of that matter. Thanks you guys and dolls
