I called Mr. Capleone to discuss my ongoing divorce case. He was very professional and seemed to have a strong knowledge of the law. I hired Mr. Capleone to represent me with my divorce case. He was smart and aggressive in the courtroom. I was expecting to end up paying a high amount of money in child support, but Mr. Capleone was able to keep the amount to be paid low. In the end, the divorce was settled by agreement of all parties. I really believe if it had not been because of Mr. Capleone's knowledge, aggressiveness, and legal skills a settlement might not have occurred. I paid Michael $3,000 to try to negotiate and acceptable plea in my trial for possession. He said if he had to prepare for a trial it would be another $2,000. He was unsuccessful in getting an acceptable plea, so I pled not guilty and paid him another $2,000 to prepare for the trial. He deposited the check, then quit on me the very next day, and would not refund the money. He did nothing to earn the second payment. Previously, he continually tried to urge me to hire a second attorney so I would have a "team." Michael is incompetent, and he misled me every step of the way. He is a disgrace to the profession.
