When I was in need of legal assistance, and when all law offices were closed due to a long holiday weekend, Mr. Derleth was available to listen to my concerns. He has outstanding work ethics and certainly kept me out of legal harm way! I will hire him again if a situation arises.

Mr. Derleth helped get me through some rough times, times which were very stressful and confusing. Hiring Eric Derleth as my trial lawyer was seriously the best decision. His defense? Like a Doberman—sharp and totally fierce. I was falsely accused of many serious crimes and potentially stood to lose my freedom for decades should I be convicted. Before I retained Eric, I had retained another attorney who turned out to be working to help convict me while taking my money. My prayers were answered with a miracle when Eric showed up to take my case after he heard my story of injustice that was being inflicted on me and being taken advantage of by my own lawyer. Eric being the type that doesn’t mess around presented the legal facts with proof of infractions the firm was committing. Without hesitation they quickly returned every cent of my money. After Eric carefully reviewed my case, combed through the facts and developed an excellent game plan for my defense. For the next 18 months, he meticulously gathered exculpatory physical evidence and witness testimony. Additionally, all the while, Eric was attentive to my requests and maintained constant communication with me throughout this incredibly stressful ordeal for my family and I. When our day in court came Eric was so prepared and his presentation so compelling and easy to understand, the jury did not come back with a verdict on my case of “Not Guilty” but a verdict of “INNOCENT”. Everyone in the courtroom was tremendously impressed with Eric’s professionalism and ability to deliver his presentation of facts that destroyed the states case. Its obvious that I am not just pleased with the outcome of Eric literally saving my life but with the level of service I received. Eric has earned his reputation and forever my respect. I would gladly recommend him to anyone. Life is precious, and when your future and freedom are at risk always start with the best defense by your side.

Eric is one of a kind. When I called his office not knowing the first thing when it came to hiring a criminal def. Lawyer his wife was understanding and courteous to my situation and got my info straight to Eric and he called me back fast. He’s straight forward and will not overwhelm you with legal jargon that us in the layman will not understand. No offense to any other lawyers that do this but it’s very overwhelming when you're just trying to get to what may happen and what you need to do. After we talked he continued to remind me periodically when I'm sure i started to get worked up about the unknown of legal matters that “once this is over you’ll breathe alot easier”. Eric has helped me more than I could ever repay. I was facing an assault charge on a local cop and he helped me get a flat time sentence of 10days in jail and NO probation! That's unheard of!
