After a car accident/injury, I didn't believe I needed a lawyer to handle my case since the other driver claimed full responsibility. I was so wrong. After several months of getting the run around from the insurance company, I was referred to Galen by a friend. He explained the laws to me in great detail, including what paperwork to expect in the mail and how long the case would take. When he took over my case, I didn't have to worry about anything or spend hours on the phone fighting with insurance people. Galen and his staff handled everything in a professional and timely manner. If I would receive a lien from my medical insurance in the mail, Galen would already have a copy and handle it for me, then email me and explain what they took care of. He was always available to talk with - even nights or weekends - if I had any questions or concerns. Not only did he get the maximum from the driver's insurance, but he also got the maximum from my under-insured motorist coverage. Because of his hard work, my case was completed in about a year - which I'm told is quite speedy for an accident/injury case. My family was involved in a head-on collision that sent my pregnant wife and I to the emergency room. The other driver was completely at fault, submitted admission of fault, was cited by DPS, and witnessed by two other parties. Despite this, the driver's insurance company was evasive for several months and claimed to not have my family's contact information, citing that as the reason for not taking any action to pay our escalating medical bills. This was unacceptable reaction by the insurance company and I was getting nowhere fast dealing with multiple phone calls from medical billing offices weekly. All this came at sensitive time in my family's life as we were relocating to a new state, buying a new house and welcoming our daughter into the world.
