After driving through Flagstaff with over 20 pounds of marijuana back around 2000 and getting caught, I was told that it was a mandatory sentence of at least 3 years. Thankfully because of Lee, I ended up with just 3 years of probation. I would've never gotten through the situation without hiring Lee. And after, my probationary period, I was able to expunge my record. I'm writing today after all these years, because I recently had him get my gun rights restored as well. I was unaware that I didn't have those rights because of the charges I had all these years ago. But, Lee also got them restored for me with one phone call. I've only been to flagstaff one other time for my sentencing after the trouble I was in. Lee, managed to take care of all of this without me even having to be present. Thank God, no more issues for me, but if I did need a defense attorney, Lee is the only one I would hire.

Lee Philips was an exceptionally great lawyer to work with. He referred to us through the National Lawyer's Guild and went above and beyond his required/expected requirements. He supported us through lessening the charge and helped us (a group of students) through the Flagstaff legal system. He was on call during our period of arrests (for activism) and gave us all the information we needed to make informed choices about how we wished to proceed legally. Hands down, Lee Philips is the lawyer in Flagstaff.

This lawyer is prompt, educated, experienced, seasoned and his tenured is far beyond any other criminal defense lawyer in the West! If you ask him the right questions or concerns about your case or situation he will check with the arresting county and give you the details of what you are charged with. Also, please believe me when I tell you, if you retain this man he will immediately lift 10,000 pounds of stress, fear and anxiety off your life. Im not a big reviewer but I had to put it out there. FYI, email him directly for a prompt response. A great criminal lawyer is not just sitting around scratching, he's BUSY!

Satisfaction isn't a strong enough word to describe my experience with Mr. Phillips and his team. Inspiration is what I felt when everything was said and done. He showed me such incredible generosity and compassion (which are things I thought not exist in the legal field) that I was literately brought to tears. He made the whole process so painless and stress free that it seemed to good too be true. Everything was made simple and easy to understand. He communicated everything clearly and effectively. On top of everything else, Mr. Phillips is a nice guy with a warm and comforting personality. I highly, highly, highly recommend his services!

Original Charge: Transportation of Marijuana For sale. End Result: Possession of Drug Paraphilia. Sentence: Probation without a felony conviction. To make this short, Lee is a very honest lawyer, he didn't just take my money and push me into a plea. He really did take time and worked with knowledge and confidence. He will honestly lead you in the right direction. I was driving through flagstaff, I live states away, so if he fought for me that much I would recommend him to anyone! His past achievements are really there for a reason. Thanks again so much Lee!

I was very leary about retaining an attny from out of state but due to circumstances things happen. My friend made a poor decision for the very first time & ended up in the system. i based my decision on customer reviews, avvo reviews, and past experiences I cld find online. In the beginning I had a difficult time getting ahold of him and was told by his staff that his focus was on clients who had already retained him....I should had looked else where from that point but I decided to give him a chance. Once I finally spoke to him i stressed my concern on several factors, his credibility, and availability and professionalism. I was assured that those wouldnt be an issue if I retained him. I informed him I like him to 1st meet my friend who was in jail so that he can advise me if he want to retain this attny. Upon my request he meet my friend and offered an affordable rate which I was very appreciative for. He gave me 10 days to make the pymt but to show how serious I was I made that payment the following morning. His staff said Id receive a email within an hour confirming my payment. By that afternoon I sent an email to follow up to make sure that he was aware that I made the payment but no confirmation. He never responded, that following Sunday I sent another email (not expecting him to respond on that day but at least by the following business day morning) regarding question on my friend behalf. Still no call or email so by that afternoon I sent a 3rd email and he responded instantly. The tone in that email made me feel like I upset him for the 3 emails (mind you he advise me that if I called and didnt get him to email him for I wld get a faster response). I followed up to that email with an apology and to just let him know I was just making sure I was on track w/ everything and to get a question answered. The following day I received a important letter that he wanted me to confirm I got so I faxed it to him. I didnt get a response so I called to confirm they got it and his secretary said he did. I also ask to setup an appt for him to call my friend whom had been trying to get ahold of him and had no luck. I was then informed he was going on vacation for the rest of the week and wldnt be available til some time the following week and by the way my friend court date was continued. That was news to me. I relayed that info to my friend who has now been in jail for a week and a half with no clue of whats going on. I call back to request what documents had been filed and thats when his staff aka his wife informed me they decided they didnt want to do business with my friend because she didnt like the fact that he calls everyday asking questions and demanding answers and now he's becoming rude and disrespectful, and that they will refund me back my funds. Im shocked at her response and tried to plead with her and she wasn't caring at all. I was so stressed out I emailed Lee that night to apologize again and plead with him and try to explain the lack of communication and amount of stress we were under. Needless to say he didnt respond back but the next day his secretary sent me a email saying this is a confirmation of your funds being credited back to your card. Their action and how they handle business from my experience is nothing like what Ive read. I felt like my friend case was not important on their priority list which was very disheartening and waste of our time. Now I have to start over with my search and it doesn't look like my friend will be home for Christmas. I was really hoping to leave a great review like some of the others I read but our customer satisfaction was mislead. ... Good luck to those in the future.

Mr. Phillips is not only a dedicated and diligent attorney, but an upstanding human being. Not only does he exert every possible effort in advocating for his clients, but he extends every courtesy to the clients and their families to ensure that they are informed in navigating a judicial system that is often difficult to decipher. He is easily moved by compassion for the downtrodden, and has never nickeled-and-dimed a single person who has come to his door for help. The amount of respect and prestige he has earned through his years of tireless representation have been well-deserved.
