Hiring Jacob Smets was the best decision I ever made. The prosecutor was confusing. I really no longer understood my rights and almost signed a very bad deal. I declined the deal and decided to hire Jake. Not only did he work out an acceptable plea deal but it he did it in an efficient and accurate manner that helped me from making a life altering mistake that I did not need to make. He worked with all parties involved to make certain that all parties were satisfied. I would recommend Jacob to anyone.

She would have had a criminal record moving forward and lost her license for a min. of 6 months. Due to the expertise and diligent work of Mr. Smets, he was able to get the criminal charges dropped and have the ticket changed to a civil ticket. Thank you Jacob Smets without you the outcome would have most definitely had a long term negative effect. We are EXTREMELY happy with this positive outcome you obtained on behalf of my daughter. Keith Hammond and his staff are wonderful! When other lawyers wouldn't take my personal injury case because it wasn't "big money," Keith was happy to take my case and help me get the settlement that I deserved.
