I would advise against ever using her for any legal situation. I was arrested for something I was innocent of. I was assigned Kari Jill Granville as a pro bono attorney. I was incarcerated for 5 months, she would never take my phone calls, she never even got me a police report the time I was in jail, did not even discuss a trial at any time, and simply said if I was to take my case to trial I would lose, and even if I won I would be page two's for carrying a pocket knife I was carrying,come to find out that it is completely legal for me to carry it. When she did do her 2 video visits she lit one cigarette after the other. You're pretty old Keri, slow down on you're smoking!! She kept telling me to sign for 5 years, had my family convinced that was a deal of a lifetime in the email' s she sent them. Thank God I was able to hire a good attorney. I went to court with my new attorney & my new attorney had me out in 3 days. I read your response to the only other review you had, which they said they had the worst experience of their life with you. You responded with saying people can ask you to do something unethical. I asked you for nothing more than legal representation, which you could not provide in the least, how can you respond to this. I mean don't get mad,I'm only keeping it real.

I had the worst legal experience of my life with this woman. This woman did not represent my interest in fact quite the opposite. I have tried to contact her since the ramifications of her lack of representation on me and she ignores all of my phone calls. I’ve asked to see documents and reports and I’ve been denied everything. This woman is someone I would bar run far far away from. This comes from someone who served a legislative internship by scholarship and has a background in law. She is grossly negligent and doesn’t give a damn about people. She made that clear.

Even though she was assigned as a public defender, at no time did I feel that I was treated differently than if I was a full paying client. I never had to ask her to do anything specific or in a certain way because she was already doing everything the way I wanted. Throughout the whole case, her personality helped make things less stressful. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needed an attorney.

Kari handled my boyfriend's case as a public defender. Although public defenders have the reputation of doing the bare minimum for their clients, this was not the case with Kari. At the time of his arrest, I was 4 months pregnant. He was facing 2 separate cases and over 6 charges. She was able to get all of his dangerous felonies dropped to non dangerous and was able to get him off on probation. Because of her hard work and dedication, he was able to see our son being born; something I was feared wasn't going to happen. Throughout the case she kept me informed and was easy to contact. She made us feel like our case was a priority and not just one of the dozens she handles everyday. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again if I should find myself in need of legal help.

Mrs. Granville is an excellent attorney, very knowledgeable about the law an understanding. She truly helped me with my case an my situation, very down to earth person and says it how it is. Which I believe won my case and persuaded the jury to see it under my favor. I appreciate how hard she worked on my case an would recommend her to anyone. Thanks again Kari.

Ms. Granville was recommended to be though another lawyer , and ms granville was amazing. She worked very hard and helped me to better understand what was going on and what our options were and wouldn't stop fighting for me till we got what we wanted. I would gladly recommend ms. Ms. Granville was appointed as my son's attorney. Because this was something new to our family, we were hopeful that we would get an attorney that would be trustworthy, have good communication skills, and would be knowledgeable about the law. Ms. Granville is all this and more. She gave me information that I needed to know via email and we kept in touch with each other throughout the entire process. This process took five months. We had numerous email conversations during that time. She was very personable and down to earth. I felt that I could talk to her about things that I did not understand. She took the time to explain things to do and even emailed me backup information that I can use in the future. She didn't sugar coat anything, but gave me realistic information that I could use during the process time and in the future. I would definitely recommend Kari Granville. As I told her last week, I am very happy to have had her represent my son. Thank you!!!

We hired Ms. Granville based on a recommendation, to defend a young relative who had made a potentially life-altering mistake. Over the period of a year, Ms. Granville worked diligently managing the difficult negotiations with a number of different prosecutors to finally secure the only outcome that will allow this young Navy veteran to have a future. This process was challenging and, at times, frightening, but Ms. Granville was dogged in her efforts and ultimately made it work. She was always accessible and kept the family informed throughout the entire process. I would certainly support a recommendation of Ms. Granville to any person who needs competent, relentless, and resolute legal counsel.

But for the excellent lawyering of Ms. Granville my son would not have received the great outcome he did. Ms. Granville was extremely knowledgeable and supportive to my husband and I while she was defending my son. We feel that she knew and understood what was fair and appropriate when bargaining for his plea agreement.

Kari Granville represented my son ( deceased ) in 2013. Kari was professional and compassionate. She recognized and got my son the services he needed. We would not have had our son with us at the end without her hard work.

Ms. Granville went out of her way when she took on my sons case. I was out of town when my son was released from jail so Kari went and picked him up and took him home. She talked to him as a friend and relayed personal stories about herself to him. She got through to him and understood what he needed to do to turn his life around and he has. He completed all his classes the court required him to without missing one of them. I don't think this would have ever happened without Ms. Granville's help. She stayed in contact with him through the months he was attending the classes. In the end he had a great understanding of how to keep his anger in check. Months after his case was over he went out of his way to stop by Ms. Granville's office and thank her for really caring about him and making a difference in his life. Ms. Granville really cared about my son. She went out of her way to help and represent him.
