Many years ago I was injured in an auto accident. The most enduring memory of the event occurred when the metal crashed against my leg. How utterly shocking it was to instantly feel the entire inside of my body burst into fire. It took several months of medical care to recover. Last year, I had a similar incident, but it didn’t involve any bodily injury. This time, the physical dimension was removed and had been replaced by all the others; psychological, emotional, mental, and financial. But when I opened the bill from the hospital, the experience was like running into a brick wall, very similar to the previous accident and just as shocking. The hospital wanted more than $65,000! I quite simply couldn’t deal with it. Previous difficulties had sapped all my resilience, so there was nothing left. It was pure suffering for weeks as I wondered what to do about this horrible new reality. Eventually, I began to look for someone who could advise me through this mysterious thicket of issues and demands. The search quickly led to Jillian Hindo, who turned out to be my knight in shining armor. Jillian assuaged my sense of terror with reassurances of how we would proceed and what the outcomes might be at each step of the process. So it felt very, very good to have a knowledgeable expert on my side who also was a known entity among the people we had to deal with. The process went smoothly, although with numerous gaps when the other side either dropped the ball or assigned it lower priority for a while. And she was always prompt and attentive in retuning my calls whenever I felt curious about the latest info. She also sent a periodic summary of her expenses including the balance remaining. Her cost was very reasonable; it seemed like she actually cared about my difficult situation. I won’t detail the actual settlement amount because, as they say on TV, no results are typical. Suffice it to say I was impressed – even astonished. What she was able to do for me may not be possible in your case. It is amazing the burdens on my shoulders have become lighter because of the hard work Jillian and Michelle have done on behalf of my child and myself. When I need to ask clarifying questions they never make me feel ignorant for asking. They are a very dynamic team and work well with each other. They respond quickly to my calls or emails and are respectful when I have fears concerning what is happening. If you ever fear for your child because of violence in a domestic situation they are the team you want in your corner. Michelle takes seriously the safety of children and is ready to stand up for them in court. Jillian is the same and they are both strong defenders of families and family values, however, they are not afraid to take on the responsibilities of child safety when the need arises. In our situation Supervised Visits were necessary and Michelle fought to make sure it happened. Each of these ladies brings different strengths to their clients. While we have won everything we have asked for, and that was important, I honestly feel they were motivated by strong convictions, ethics and the safe being of my child. They put in place safeguards and accountability on the part of my child’s mother. This is not an experience anyone wishes to go through, however, you could not have a better team working for and with you than Jillian and Michelle. There is no hesitation on my part on recommending them should you have the need for their services.
