After talking to many lawyers I finally found Melissa Weiss-Riner and hired her to handle my custody case. From the moment we met she was professional, straight forward, and gave me great advise. Melissa worked extremely hard on every detail of my case, she was very organized and determined. When allegations where thrown our way she explained everything I needed to do to shut these allegations down. She went through this entire case for almost a year with me and my family. And when trial came along she was aggressive, professional, and won my case. Melissa didn't mislead me she told me exactly what she thought we could win and what she didn't think we could win. She is the most amazing lawyer and person. I would recommend her a thousand times over to anyone in need of a lawyer that will work hard for her clients. Thank you again for everything Melissa

Melissa was to the point, quick to understand the situation and developed a strategy that obtained the objectives agree upon. Highly recommend her for those that seem to be financially constrained, but are willing to do some of the work themselves.

I had a messy same-sex divorce involving custody issues, and Melissa represented me. She was available and a good listener, understanding the focus and issues most important to me, while still of course defending my position on all the issues, including the ones I didn't think of. I particularly appreciated the thoroughness of her written work, which was clear and complete and felt like I had a strong defender in my corner. Her fees are reasonable, and she didn't nickel and dime me for every contact.

I was so pleased with the job that Melissa did that I felt obligated to write my first ever letter of recommendation. My custody case was already a year and a half when I was fortunate enough to call Melissa after spending $4,000 on one attorney to write up a few documents and speaking to half dozen others. Melissa was the only lawyer out of 25 that agreed to represent me due to distance. She has been the most generous, attentive, professional lawyer I've met. Even though we were four hours apart she always took time to talk to me and actually listen to me. She was there for me through my struggle of losing my daughter due to unfortunate events.
