Robert Newell and Shari Vitari were amazing. I was very grateful for the personalized attention they gave me. From the time I put Robert on retainer I knew I had someone I could trust working for me. Even though the judicial system failed me it wasn't because of the legal aid I had.

I Hire Mr. Ellsworth to represent me in a child custody case. Mr. Ellsworth is knowledgeable and was able to guide me through the complexities of the case. He was informative and made sure I kept up to date on all aspect of the case. In the end Mr. Ellsworth was able to settle the case out of court in my favor and in the best interest of the kids. He is extremely competent and his firm was very helpful. I would highly recommend Mr. Ellsworth and his team on any domestic relations case.

I can't begin to express my gratitude to my attorney Mr. Steven Ellsworth and his AMAZING staff! I had a complicated divorce case and I really needed a VERY skilled & razor sharp attorney. Well little did I know I didn't just get a really great attorney, I got a whole DREAM TEAM working, advocating and fighting for me!! What I was most impressed with (outside of my wonderful divorce settlement) was the education, professionalism & expertise EVERYONE has at Ellsworth Family Law! I will be forever grateful and I will ALWAYS recommend him and his team!

Service was prompt, explanations of what was happening and going to happen were easy to understand, but most of all I was impressed with the thoroughness and organization of the presentation in court. I felt like Steve knew my case as well as I did. The way he was able to quickly jump through documents to find statements to contradict my son’s mother showed his preparation and familiarity with everything that had happened even though my case took over a year and a half from start to finish.

I got thru my divorce with these guys and so will you! Other "life" events threatened to drag out my divorce and Steven Ellsworth and his associates really listened and took the time to get things straight and get things right! Family law is not fun and you don't get what you "want". Ellsworth and team will not only get you thru it but they will get you what is fair and right. They have that kind of integrity and intellect.

If your soon-to-be ex is looking for an attorney, recommend Jeff McCombs.
I was going through an amicable split where we agreed on everything, however I though it would be prudent to have an actual lawyer draw up the paperwork. Jeff told me it would cost about $2500 dollars to "get it done right".
I had one meeting and a phone conversation with him. I found out that information he had given me on pursuing a separation instead of a divorce was in fact incorrect. Suddenly I was wondering why I was paying a lot for a professional who didn't seem to be very well informed.
In spite of agreeing on how to split assets, he was constantly advocating for me to give more assets to my wife (who didn't want them). He insisted that she had to take ownership of half of the house and half of my retirement (she didn't want or need either).
After one meeting and one phone conversation I told him to stop working on the case. It was clear he was not well informed, but also clear that he was not interested in advocating for our mutual benefit, much less for my benefit (I was the specific client, as couple can't share an attorney for divorce).
He kept $600 out of my retainer for his "work" Never did bother to provide an itemized bill or statement. I got my divorce done at "The Divorce Store" for a total cost of $800 and it was just finalized a few days ago with the exact terms we both wanted (that he had fought so hard to modify to my detriment)
In summary. This is the lawyer you want to recommend to your opponent. He will consistently advocate against his clients best interests and charge significant fees for a generally spotty knowledge of the law and it's processes.

Waste of money!
Jeffery McCombs was the attorney who was assigned to our case - we never even got to talk to or meet any of the founders of this law office. Jeff took our money and filed paperwork, no more than a paralegal is capable of. He didn't get us anything more than what we independently negotiated with the opposing party. He didn't even put our proposal into other "more professional" words. The final papers submitted to the judge were my own rough draft of what we thought would be a fair compromise. I literally have no idea what we paid this guy thousands of dollars for. Don't waste your money.

Mr. Goldfarb and his assistant Selena deserve ten stars.
They realized my love for my son would remain true and forthright and eloquently and professionally, considering my limited income, kept pace with my tumultuous endeavor.
A parents love remains steadfast.
They are the best!!
Retain the best. They are.
