Wonderful firm to work with. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

This has been a fiasco from day 1. While I agree that I owed HOA fees(issues with auto pay that HOA did not make me aware of), they hired these lawyers who never communicated with me. I got court paper work, but absolutely 0 communication prior or after. I finally got my own lawyer as these guys decided to foreclose on my home (once again, no communication from them prior. No idea how much I owed nor how to pay as they never contacted me). I kept checking in with my lawyer, but it took these people over a month(close to two) to contact my lawyer back. If I could give 0 stars, I would. 0/10 would NOT recommend.

HORRIBLE company and "attorneys" to work with. Extremely rude, unfair, unreasonable and unprofessional. Do not hire this firm they are your worst nightmare!!!

This place is the worst of the worst. Total rip offs only out to totally rip people off and take all your hard earned money by dropping leins on your home.

I have had the displeasure of working with Jessica at this firm. As someone else stated this is an HOA collection firm, nothing to do with a real firm. I have emailed, called and physically gone to the offices to try and get a balance and pay off my HOA fees and I can’t get an answer. I’m literally trying to pay them and I can’t get an answer! I HAVE NEVER WORKED THIS HARD TO PAY OFF A DEBT!!!! They’re rude and short with their answers. As a retired combat veteran I’ve never felt more disrespected when working with another agency. Don’t believe the 5 star comments, go with your gut.

Ok, is it just me or do the reviews below seem to be…exaggerated a bit? This is a collection agency for HOA dues and not a law firm. I’ve never seen a collection agency receive 5 star reviews before and it is extremely odd that these are all recent. Just an observation. I have had an extremely poor experience with the Maxwell & Morgan “Collection Agency”. And yes, this is a collection agency, not a law firm. We had a tough year in 2018 and got behind on our bills, including the HOA fees for our new home. Long story short, this Maxwell & Morgan collection agency has charged me nearly $5k in attorney’s costs and interest in 2 years! That’s for 7 emails and some copy and paste work for the court filings and the stipulation agreement. (Literally) That is basically the same amount as all of the HOA fees due for the past 5 years +……incredible. Please be sure to read your stipulation agreement fully as they charge accruing interest on the entire balance, even if you are making monthly payments. Do yourself a favor and pay the entire balance off as quickly as you can or you will end up owing 2-5x what you originally owed the HOA if you just make the stipulated payments. Kind of like payday/ title loan interest rates tbh…how this is legal, I don’t know. It’s definitely wrong.
