I want to place Melissa Benson on a high pedestal and the firm :) Mrs. Benson represented me in my Spousal Support trial. She displays a positive and calming demeanor with truthfulness and loving knowledge in family law. Due to my concerns with hearing and anxiety attacks, she and I did a ‘mock trial questioning’ so I can be strong and confident that I lack. At trial, watching her demeanor and listening to her calming voice made me at ease. Her quick observation and questioning to dispel the untruth of the opposing party, made me so proud of her! This whole time show respect to the opposing party and their attorney. My wishes were to show fairness, respect and not to hurt the other party AND she did just that!!! I find Melissa a wonderful asset to Davis Miles McGuire Gardner. Thank you Mr. Gardner for strategically referring Mrs. Benson to me. My guarding angels; Madison, Briana and Jasmine for all their assistance, many documents and such kindness to me. Especially to Jasmine on a phone call, I was in an anxiety attack…. her calm voice and little steps to help complete a form, meant so much to me. I’m very proud of you all and Melissa!!! Melissa and her team were very thorough and knowledgeable about my divorce and handled it quickly and efficiently. Having been married 25 yrs this was not an easy decision and they were sensitive and very helpful.

While I will never be getting divorced again (don’t we all say that?), I can wholeheartedly recommend Melissa to anyone who needs help in a divorce or custodial issues. I would not have had the results I had if she had not been in my corner.

I came to see cole with only a couple of days before having to file a response. I thought, since I was a good parent, I could defend myself. Especially since a legal defense is so costly. I wrote 40+ pages in preparation, citing all of the other parties faults, misdeeds and so forth. About 2am one night reality hit me, I have no clue what to do. I was in over my head, the stakes simply too high. I talked to a couple of attorneys and did a lot of review shopping online. In my first meeting with cole I realized the seriousness of the challenge in front of me, but cole and his team calmed my frazzled nerves and began to immediately talk strategy which made me feel like he was a fighter. There was also an in-depth knowledge of my situation specifically, family law, that further settled my uneasiness. Before trial, yes trial, buckle up, cole spent a great deal of time learning everything about my situation and had a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the case and used that knowledge to prepare himself and me for trial. The trial went exactly like he said it would, and before I knew it I was shaking his hand goodbye outside the courthouse. The result: the judge denied every single request, cole very calmly obliterated their meager attack using law and president. My family is whole again. If you’re reading this you are probably in need of some help, just take a 20 minute meeting and you’ll see what I saw.

Cole was very attentive and concerning about the little money I was able to spend. And also I think the judge made up her mind before we were even seen. However I think he could have pushed harder and did not touch on many issues that I needed to get resolved. Seems to be a little pensive and reluctant to ruffle feathers or be a little demanding. My ex was doing all the demanding.

Great Attorney. Professional and caring. We routinely had to ask for information that should have been given to us. Because we had to ask, it cost us everytime we did, and each instance was billed to us. We were given an approximate amount the divorce would cost, it wound up costing 5 times that amount. I understand there were unforeseen costs, but we had the terrible feeling we were nickel and dimed to death. I would still recommend to anyone needing a divorce attorney, because they excell at making you feel good during a time of crisis and that's worth something.
