After realizing a wakeup call to finally get an Estate Plan established, we chose LifePlan Legal (Mesa) attorneys Jake Carlson and Glenn McMinn. We researched a number of potential firms (including on-line options) and found that LifePlan Legal customizes a plan based on our needs and not just fill-in the blanks, then forget about us. Our initial concerns regarding the right questions for us to ask and pricing were quickly put to rest during our first visit. We were able to get a consultation (free by the way), within a couple of days, a draft of our Trust the following week and a final signing shortly afterward. Jake and Glenn were very generous with their time to ensure our understanding of the before/after process. We very much appreciated the education received along the way, as well as, their encouragement to ask as many questions as needed. We couldn't be happier with the results! They provide a very robust service and go to great lengths to encourage our understanding of our post-signing responsibilities, making the Trust truly updated and complete. We felt very cared for and feel that Jake and Glenn 'have our backs' moving forward. This is an excellent team - we made the right decision!

Went to LifePlan needing to have a trust done. I had just gone thru a very complicated one with my mom after she passed and vowed to make mine much easier. Attorney Jake Carlson and Erica quickly and successfully handled some estate planning legal issues I needed addressed with my elderly mother who lives in AZ. Unfortunately, I live on the East Coast so I had to rely on Google reviews to find an estate planning attorney which led me to LifePlan Legal AZ in Mesa. I submitted my request online and Erica contacted me within a few minutes by email, which was then followed up by a phone call to gather the requisite information, what I needed done, etc. She set up an appointment for my mom to come into their office in 2 days to meet with Jake, review and to sign the required documents. They also noted that I needed an additional legal document completed and recorded to facilitate estate issues later on down the road. Everything was explained clearly and directly, the appropriate docs were recorded with the correct country recorder’s office, and courtesy copies were sent to me as I asked. Jake and Erica were professional, very prompt, courteous and especially kind to my mom. 5 stars across the board and I would definitely use them again if the need arises. Highly recommended.

We hired Jake and his firm to do our estate planning paperwork, because of the high reviews. He and his staff did not disappoint. We worked with Jake and Erica, they are both excellent.
