On vacation in California, my parents were in a horrific accident leaving my mother on life support, father badly wounded, and my sister and I not knowing what to do. The other commercial driver being at fault, and underinsured, we were told to obtain an attorney and given many names to call. I thought of my friend of 10 years, John Torgenson. John had always been someone I respected with kind character and charitable actions. Not wanting to make such a big decision solely based on the personal connection, I gave him a call to discuss the situation. John immediately gave me confidence in his capabilities to protect and advocate for my family and most importantly my mother. He flew to California the next day, investigated the accident site, contact all parties involved and gathered information. John spent the next couple of days sitting with my mother, father and sister. He was warm, compassionate and comforting in a time of extreme circumstance. It gave me peace of mind that I had made the right decision for my family. My mother did not survive the aftermath from the accident. John was there in my parents home the days surrounding her passing. Again with his words of assurance that he had us. My family devastated and broken, John was a pilar of strength and constant advocating for what was a tragedy but also a wrongful death. Dealing with insurance and Medicare bills tripling the amount the other drivers insurance policy covered, John worked diligently to protect my mother’s estate. He fought hard for my fathers financial future. He responded to numerous emotional phone calls, explaining the process. In the end, John and his team obtained a full settlement and we were awarded the best possible outcome. The kindness and support Torgenson Law poured into my family during this time is priceless.

Jon and his team were absolutely amazing. They kept me in the loop every step of the way and even made sure I got a fair amount from my settlement, even if it meant making a bit less for themselves. I am impressed and will recommend this team to everyone I know!

Torgenson Law handled a medical injury case for me a few years ago. It was a difficult case to prove given that the doctor and hospital refused to communicate. They hired and expert and ultimately proved my case, giving me a fair settlement. I was happy with the result and have sent a few friends their way after a car crash.
