Good morning, I have had many obstacles along the way of my young adulthood. I never would have imagined facing a felony charge, not one, but two. A few months ago, I decided to go out and have a "great" time which resulted with facing legal issues due to a mistake I made that night. This incident happened two weeks before commencing pre-nursing school. I was devastated, everything felt as if it were going to go downhill. My gut told me to look for a private attorney. I began to search, I left voicemails, I would go to law offices in person, and many were rude, and would not return any of my calls back. I am a veteran that was having trouble re adjusting to society and had gotten in trouble when i called Julio and his team for help they got me out of jail time and my probation reinstated.

I used Julio several years ago. They took advantage of my fear and panic and gave me the story that they could get my charge dropped and that if I paid upfront I could save money off the enormous cost it would be to hire a lawyer. I paid upfront and Julio did the bare minimum. Gone was the promise of getting charges dropped and he just accepted what the first offer the city gave. I had to do all the work and point out to the prosecutor all the facts, and request the police report and point out the discrepancies of the other guy. I was able to get the original charge changed but if I had a better lawyer I'm sure I would have ended up with an even better resolution to my case. I just recently got a new lawyer for the last set aside for this case and they were MUCH better and willing to fight for me and do the work. They did all the work and just told me what they needed from me to get the best outcome possible for me. Even with the other guy trying to stop the set aside out of spite.

So I had three cases with multiple felonies. I was put on probation (all concurrent but 3 cases of probation). I relapsed and violated in 2018. I was facing three probation revocation hearings, which means jail time. I turned myself in and have been clean since feb 2019. While in the process of hiring laboy, I met with a public defender for my first hearing to notify her I was hiring him. She only had two minutes to talk to me total, and before I could speak, gave me a rundown of how I was going to jail (walk in, go to jail anywhere for a couple months to 6 months). As soon as I told her I was hiring Julio Laboy I could see her demeanor shift. The judge's as well. His name carries a lot of weight in the court room. Well-respected. I ended up serving no jail time at all, and what's more, my probation was dismissed! Julio Laboy is amazing at what he does. He is very supportive and communicative. He will walk you through every step, with honesty and kindness. He takes the time to prepare and having him on your side is the wisest choice you can make!

Awesome guy Julio is very understanding and compassionate. Haven't had the chance to retain his service, but the hour and a half or so he has spent on the phone with me, he has been awesome! My daughter had been arrested and was scheduled to appear before a judge in Early Resolution Court in just two days. She had already been in jail for a week and had not yet been contacted by a public defender, even though she had requested one at her initial appearance. I was panicked that my daughter would not have legal representation on her court date. Some dear friends of mine told me to contact Julio Laboy. Why would a well-known and highly respected attorney do that? Because he is a genuine and nice person who truly believes in helping others. He could have told me that my daughter would not receive adequate representation from a public defender so that we would hire him and I wouldn't have doubted it, but he didn't. In fact, Mr. Laboy didn't even ask how we planned to compensate him for the help his law firm had already provided to us, but there was no way I was going to take advantage of someone who was so ethical and honest. We worked out a fair dollar amount and parted ways. There are no words to express how absolutely blessed my family is to know Julio Laboy. He is a true man of character, who uses his gifts and knowledge to help others. I had a "class 6 designated felony" on my record from over 10 years ago. I had it come up on a criminal background check, stopping me from being approved for a new home.
