I can tell all the good reviews were obviously requested by Mr. Martinez himself. Hired him for criminal case . He assured me that it wouldn’t be any issue to get friend out. Said he would do it. Didn’t . Wouldn’t return calls text. Or even show up as planned. Didn’t fight at all . Scared and knowledgeable at court . Couldn’t even get a negotiated plea offered. Couldn’t get one thing changed on the plea. The video evidence was lost all body cam footage gone and still lost case. Felt mislead and severely manipulated.. shoulda burned the money instead. Would a been more worth it

I simply do not recommend Jose as a lawyer to hire because he has done a very poor job with our case. He does not communicate well at all and does not have much experience with a civil lawsuit. He has missed deadlines and has forgot facts about the case. He has missed the deadline to respond to a motion and therefore lost the motion in the other parties favor which we did not agree to but it got our case throw out while the counterclaim is still active and ongoing. We have no leverage now. This was done to spite us as we have a flat fee arrangement. It feels like he is doing as little as possible because of the flat fee arrangement.

This guy has ripped off several clients, including a client being abused by the courts. Jose jumped on the band wagon and decided to rip his client off. Make it right, Jose.

Jose has helped us with understanding all the uncertainty of family law. He made sure to keep us informed and ease our minds with every hearing and motion filed.

Paid a fixed rate. After paid in full he had come up with excuses to quit since the case is more complex than he thought. I do not recommend. Beware.

If you are looking for an attorney to actually represent and fight for you I recommend Jose. I am a single mother Jose recently represented me in a custody battle which I won thanks to my great attorney. I didn't have to go down to the court and fill out all kinds of forms that I know nothing about, he did all the work for me. He was honest and straightforward throughout the whole process. You can't find this kind of help nowadays.

Mr. Martinez was a pleasure to work with. He represented me with my family court. From the beginning to the end, he stuck by my side. He made sure I got everything I deserved. No matter the time of day he always kept me updated with information that erased my worries. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.

My ex-husband was not paying me what he owed and I hired Jose to help me collect. Jose was able to enforce collection on the judgement against my ex-husband and I was able to receive almost 80% of what was owed to me. When he presented my case in court, it was a slam dunk and the judge ruled in my favor.

Mr. Jose Martinez is a professional on every level. I went through a ugly divorce because my wife was unreasonably she wanted full custody of our children. He was able to get me full custody of my children. He is fair,upfront, honest and handled my case out of the highest concern for myself and my children. This guy is nothing short of amazing. He’s knowledgeable, supportive, communicative, and an all around awesome human being. As we still are going through my case it is now 8:03pm and he is still answering questions I have enabling me to sleep at night. Worth every penny and then some. Haven’t even concluded my case as said but am reviewing Jose now because of what he has done. Regardless of how this ends, I had a great guy in my corner.
