First off, any firm that offers their services without a consultation fee automatically gets high marks in my books. Asking me to pay 50 dollars to be told that they don't specialize in something, or for a referral to another office that has a similar fee just feels like a waste. Alcock and Associates DO NOT charge any fees. Our first phone call was incredibly helpful, giving both me and my significant other the foundation of information we really needed during a rather chaotic time. They were able to schedule us in quickly, and we did a 1 to 1 meeting. Lisa E. was assigned as our primary attorney on the case, and we never had any issues with contacting her for updates, as she proactively passed any information she received from USCIS (along with keeping on top of deadlines, documents we needed to submit, etc.) I can't say I've ever required the use of an attorney, but being my first ever experience she was well beyond my expectations. Moving away from their office she was also willing to travel to our city in order to sit in during an interview that was conducted by the USCIS office. All in all, a great experience, and we'll be returning and referring anyone in the local area (or even over in our new residence!)

Negative -0 out of 10! Hired them back in 2013 and still wish I never did! Going through my legal issues was enough of a nightmare yet hiring an attorney that was supposed to defend you ...or at least seem interested to help you, but never did! I do not recommend for a criminal case in that case a public defender was more helpful!......p.s No I am not a competitor I was a prior client that fired one of the attorneys in this firm, Julia Cassels to be exact!

Right from the start I could tell that Alcock & Associates was a firm that represented their clients well. My significant other and I went in for a consultation and immediately felt at ease as they aswered our questions, walked us through the timeline for USCIS form sumbmission and offered us a flexible payment plan. Lisa E. was assigned as our immigration attorney and she was beyond helpful. My significant other and I relocated to another state but Lisa communicated with us via email and we were able to submit all the forms to USCIS in a timely manner. After USCIS scheduled our interview, Lisa was very flexible with travelling out of state to be present during the interview. She has been helpful throughout the process, from answering any question that came up to thoroughly going through our file and prepping us for the interview. I will definitely be utilizing Lisa E. as my attorney in the future. I highly recommend Alcock & Associates to anyone looking for a lawyer who will represent you well and has afforable prices (with payment plans).
