Over this past summer, I had the opportunity to intern at CIMA Law Group. My experience there was a very valuable one overall. I was a legal intern and was able to work closely with both the attorneys and the legal assistant. Unlike many other internships, I was able to gain real hands on experience in this position by helping with cover letters, forms, and going to the courthouse. Furthermore, I was able to work on my Spanish speaking abilities and learn the ins and outs of the immigration law system in a very quick time frame. All in all, I would suggest applying to this internship if you have any desire to work in immigration, criminal defense, or personal injury law, because it is a great opportunity to get your feet wet.

For the last 3 months, I interned at CIMA Law Group as a hybrid intern working on both the legal work and government relations work. My time at CIMA was incredible. Louie was a great supervisor and mentor. Since the start of my internship, I was given opportunities to show my strengths but more importantly to learn. I can say with full certainty that interning at CIMA has made me a better student, future lawyer, and person. Everyone at CIMA Law Group is committed and truly cares about the needs of the client. If you are looking for legal or government relations advice, I highly recommend reaching out to CIMA. Attorney Arash Alex Tavanaei is very knowledgeable about Cancellation of Removal. He shared important law and policy with me to know more about this form of immigration relief. He answered all my questions and gave me tips moving forward. I highly recommend him and CIMA Law Group to anyone who's looking for an immigration attorney.

I worked here during the summer as an intern. I learned a great deal about immigration law and enjoyed my time in the office. The staff is friendly, helpful, and motivated. Interning at CIMA Law Group has been a truly 'outstanding' experience in every sense of the word. From day one, I was entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities and quickly given the opportunity to showcase my writing skills, as well as my desire to make a tangible impact in my local community. In fact, working at the firm over the past few months has led me to develop a newfound passion for immigration law -- given that it has comprised the vast majority of my casework. Now, thanks to the competent and empathetic staff at CIMA Law Group, I have acquired the practical knowledge and personal confidence necessary to pursue this interest in law school. Moreover, contrary to other internships, this one values 'on-the-job' training and consistently provides its interns with critical hands-on experiences and projects where they are forced to apply the knowledge that they have gained. I was an Intern at CIMA Law Group and can say that every one that works there is exceptional at their jobs. He is a knowledgeable mentor and genuinely wants people to success. “Who ask more will learn more.” I would recommend students who major in policies, public administration, or paralegal seek for professional internship in this law firm. Ana and Audrey are two great friendly legal assistants, they always treat clients with respect and kind manners. Ayensa and Arash have years of experience in immigration cases. During the time, I have witnessed them working restlessly helping many people to achieve the best case. Overall, CIMA law group is professional organization with friendly work environment.
