I have known Shaunna for over a year now, and I have been involved with her in an attorney mastermind group. Shaunna is dedicated to her clients and improving their experience in and outside of court. Michael Crane was my attorney during my child custody case. He was amazing. He walked me through what to expect and worked hard during trial. The outcome was in my favor and I’m more then satisfied with my time working with him. I highly recommend.

don't even know where to start! Shawnna Riggers and her team are incredible in every way! Even though I live on the other side of the country, she went out of her way to assist me with a guardianship case for my grandson who was originally from AZ. Although she initially felt I wouldn't need her services, she still gave her time and knowledge to guide me. She was so kind and understanding and went above and beyond to ease my concerns and make legal recommendations. I did eventually retain her services and she adjusted her fee (a significant reduction) based on what she thought I would need. After that, she ended up reimbursing most of the retainer. I would have paid her DOUBLE for the peace of mind that she provided for me...but she gave me my money BACK. She still reaches out to me to find out how the case is going in my state. This is a person (and team) who are ethical (yup, I said it...this LAWYER is ETHICAL) and truly concerned with doing the best for the families they represent. Do not hesitate to contact them! You won't regret it!

I do not recommend Shawnna Riggers. Please do your research on an attorney who will care about you, your child and your case and not only about the money. I hired her in 2016, she was paid up front and she only appeared to the initial hearing. She showed no real interest in my concerns but very agreeable with the opposite party. My case literally almost went downhill during her representation. I had to terminate with her representation because she was on vacation and had nothing prepared before the hearing but instead used the excuse "you won't be able afford my representation if we go further" only assuming. She was initially paid everything in full, even paid for calls I made to her in which she wasn't of any help to provide guidance or proper advice. Most of the representation, I felt alone and always looking for other attorneys advice. It was just the worst experience ever, specially when you're talking about your child. I'm glad I found another attorney who did care and my case ended in my favor. This attorney is just a waste of time and waste of money the only thing gained was stress.

Shawnna was amazing! She guided me in the best way possible, I would not have been able to do it without her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, Shawnna knows her stuff. Thank you for everything!

I am not eloquent or do I articulate my feeling well. With that said I cannot express how wonderful it was to work with Shawnna for my adoptions in 2017. I adopted two little girls I was fostering and it was an extremely scary and difficult case and Shawnna was amazing! She even showed up in court with only hours notice and secured an order that no one could remove the girls from our home as we had found out there was another party able to do this! Take about peace of mind! I thank my stars I had briefly spoken to Shawnna before that had happened. We immediately hired her and the adoptions went smoothly from then on. We welcome our girls into their forever home on Sept 12, 2017. I highly recommend Shawnna for your adoptions!

One day I was eating lunch in the middle of a perfectly normal work day. When I looked out on the porch and saw a woman who was obviously in distress. Not physically but emotionally and spiritually for sure. I felt God tell me, "She needs a friend" so I introduced myself. Fast forward 7 years. She passes away leaving instruction for me to care for her teen-ager. I had no idea what to do... but God did. He sent a friend who put me in touch with Shawna Riggers and Arizona Family Law Attorneys. She was amazing! When I was thoroughly confused and freaking out a little she had it all under control. She was by my side fighting 2 separate interested parties who had more legal standing than I did. The child's father and her maternal uncle. Shawna never wavered. She said to me many times, "I have no doubt that child is right where she belongs!" And she made the judge see that too. I am eternally grateful for the time and effort she put into our case and am proud to announce that due to Shawna's relentless pursuit of justice, we now have a brand new bouncing teenaged girl!

worked with Shawnna as a she was referred and supposed to be amazing. she was very into what was going on. With my case then passed on to another attorney. No biggie thought things were great but they left countless things on the table never even brought them up in court. they just wanted to get a settlement between be and my ex. Now my ex has left the state with out any of my knowledge or the courts nothign i can do becasue it was left out of the decree and parenting plan along with so much other stuff that I have to fight for now. They talk a good game. my experience is now i have to hire another attorney to fix their mess of custody paper work. Yes, I read it and said sounds good but they do this for a living sorry this was my 1st divorce or custody appearance. Ive heard and read wonderful things about her adoption proceedings both me and the friend who referred me are now very displeased having issues with our custody orders. and because there is nothing in the documents saying ex needed to notify or cant leave state now have to track down my children in another state. Then file a ton more paper work for the court. police cant do anything why? becasue its not in the custody agreement have to take it up with the court.

My wife and I were looking to adopt a baby boy and Shawnna Riggers worked with us and the birth parents to ensure our adoption went smooth and without any major issues. She explained everything to us and ensured our birth parents were ready and serious about proceeding. Our adoption, although complex at times, she made it a happy occasion. Adoptions can be difficult for both parties, but Arizona Family Law Attorneys worked quickly from start to end. Shawnna took us in and guided us through the adoption process with our child. She was professional from the beginning but is such a hard worker. She made everything extremely easy for us! Shawnna is hands down the best attorney I have ever worked with, both personally and professionally. She handled our contested private adoption with professionalism and we could not have gotten through the ordeal without her.
