After reading through the previous reviews, I will confirm that the comments are all absolutely true, spot on and well deserved. I was very fortunate to find Mr. Muirhead, and couldn't be more pleased with the way my case was handled. He takes a very personal approach, and truly cares about you as a person not just another number. I experienced horrific treatment from another law firm that dropped my case the day before a long awaited hearing. Mr. Muirhead reviewed my case, and walked me through a very complicated process that I would not have been able to do on my own. He is sharp, has amazing legal skills and he worked hard to WIN a difficult case that could have easily been lost due to the neglect from the other attorney. I am very grateful that now I can move forward with my life. Id also like to point out that there was always communication between myself and Mr. Muirhead and his staff. He also has made himself available for questions after the case was closed. If you ever find yourself in the stressful and unfortunate situation of needing a social security attorney, you can't beat the results, treatment, and professionalism of this firm. I had searched for an attorney for awhile, I came across Mr Muirheads number. I called and explained my situation, he scheduled me for an appointment. I arrived for my appointment, he listened to me and explained the entire process to me. I hired him and fill out the necessary paperwork, and I left. With all said and done I was awarded my claim in just a little over 4 months, I was amazed after hearing horror stories. Mr Muirhead was very professional. I would recommend him highly.

Mr. Muirhead took my claim from application to approval in about 7 weeks. From the beginning he knew what was needed and how to get things rolling. I have extensive medical problems and he knew how important it was to get it done right the first time through. After three unsuccessful attempts of filing for disability benefits on my own, I was referred to Andrew Muirhead's firm by a family member. I met with Andrew and we discussed my case, and after meeting with him, I found him to be honest and very straitforward. Even though from the outside looking in, my particular case seemed to be very difficult at best, he felt very confident that he could help me and so he agreed to represent me at my disability hearing. It took about two years before I was able to have my hearing. During that time I contacted Andrew several times having been frustrated with the length of the whole process and the financial hardship that it was causing to me and my family, he just kept on reassuring me which put my mind at ease because I knew that he had my back. When my hearing finally came Andrew met with me and answered all of my questions regarding the trial and what to expect. After going over all of the medical reports and  documentation, it was discovered that some crucial medical information was missing,  After locating it just minutes before I was to see the judge, Andrew was able to forwarded it to him. Had he not been so thorough this never would have been discovered and could have been very damaging to my case. During the hearing Andrew demonstrated why his reputation is what it is, he took command from his opening statements to his closing arguments and explained in great detail to the judge and to the Social Security representative why they must rule in my favor based on the evidence presented to them. He was very knowledgeable and very matter-of-fact in his statements to say the least. Because of Andrew's dedication and willingness to fight for those of us who have disabilities seen or unseen, my story has a happy ending in that the court ruled in my favor and I was awarded all of my disability payments going back to when I first filed on my own. A claim for Social Security Disability was filed the end of November 2013. In late March 2014 we were notified that the claim had been approved! We were expecting this action to take at least 6 months, and had high probability that these type of claims are not awarded on a first submission, so we were prepared for an appeal. Mr. Muirhead explained the laws that applied and the process fully. He is knowledgeable, personable, and establishes trust with a client very easily. Felt the attorney was definitely on "our side"!

My case was very hard to prove. My chronic pain fell under "other" Basically no one believed me, not even doctors for a long while. Andrew told me up front my case was hard. He warned me this was not going to be a fun time. He made no promises and gave it to me straight. That is what I wanted. I didn't want someone blowing smoke, just be honest with me and do your best. It of course took a long time (just the system) but he won my case. I got 2 years back pay. He made the process as easy as it can be. He prepped me on what to expect in front of the judge. He SHOWED UP!!! One poor guy next to me, his lawyer never showed! The guy was forced to face the judge alone. I feel the one most important piece to my case was the forms he had my doctors fill out. They got to the heart of the matter. He used my doctors finding to directly disprove what the state doctors said. He clearly has been around the block a few times. So if you are looking for a lawyer who is going to tell you everything you want to hear, and blow smoke, Andrew is not your guy. If you want, down and dirty, black and white, take it or leave it help or advise he is your guy.

i had met mr. Muirhead as someone had recomended him to me when i first applied to get my SSI, at the time i had no thought of getting a lawer, but i went anyway to see what he was all about... the cool thing about Andrew is that he has his own office and he is not in a big building with other attornies. when i walked in i was greeted with a happy smile from the secretary, and the warm environment relaxed me... and Muirhead was just the same... he was confident in what he was telling me and he told me that he woud never take on a case that he thought he could not win. he knew what he was doing and without a doubt did just that. i had Andrew for over a year waiting for the final yes. he stayed with me all the way and helped me get to where i dont think i would have gone.. because with him i knew what to do and he made me feel confident that i can win this. he was always on top of things and got the job done without any hesitation.. even if the imfo that i had given him may not have been completely to what we where looking for... he listened .. and i loved the fact that he always took the time to listen... i was able to connect with him and we where able to wrk as one, for when in the begining i was not very sure about the whole thing, but i am glad i did. he was great, and i was never in the black of what was going on with my case. i was always informed. he told me what to do in such a way that i could understand and do just that... and now it is because of Andrew Muirhead that i have a life, and i dont worry about what i used to. he helped me get somewhere that i never would have done on my own... he understood. to me he is more then just a good person who does great at what they do, but someone i was able to put my life in his hands, and not once did he drop me or lose his grip, because he carried me all the way never stumbling or unsure but confident that he could get me to the other side... and that is what he did... thank you andrew for your amazing help and being a great friend along the way... i have something because of you.. i would recomend anyone to Andrew Muirhead, because i know his hands will not fail to take you to the other side..... he is great, and he will without fail take your challenge and not just step over it but leap... i owe all my thanks to andrew muirhead.
