Bret Royle, in a sense, saved my brother’s life. He was facing 10-12 years with an appointed Public Defender who wasn’t even a criminal lawyer, who missed glaring errors that would’ve cost my brother years inside. We were desperate for some guidance and Bret allowed us to pick his brain before even retaining him. He answered every text message and returned every single phone call. Mind you we live in a different state, so communication regarding my brother’s defense was critical in mitigating his situation. We were already feeling defeated and frustrated with the appointed Public Defender. The lack of knowledge, communication and sheer ethic to defend became glaringly obvious in contrast to the service we were receiving from Bret Royle. We don’t come from a lot of money and paying for an attorney never seemed feasible until we realized what was at risk. We rallied the troops and did what we could to secure Bret at Feldman & Royle. Brett helped us in a juvenile case. We came to find out the Juvenile system assumes your guilt and has very little if any desire to hear the defendants side of the case. I hired Bret to handle a dui case I had recently. The results he got for me were more than I could have hop d for. He is great at keeping an open line of communication and does a great job being through and communicating with you through the process.
