When you are in the process of finding someone to legally represent you, the process can seem overwhelming. We found Downing Allison and Jorgenson in the US Health & Human Services website under the Vaccine Injury Compensation Fund listing of attorneys who work on vaccine injury claims, 15 years ago. My first telephone conversation with Andrew Downing was spent crying over the telephone while attempting to tell Mr. Downing our story of how our teenage son was in a comatose state in a hospital a few short months after getting the flu vaccine. Years later, when our son met Mr. Downing virtually to sign settlement documents, Mr. Downing's first job was convincing our son that there was such a Fund, that his injury was compensable, that Mr. Downing was a legitimate attorney, and that our son would be receiving a settlement. We paid $0 for this firm's tremendous legal skills and services since our legal expenses were also covered by the Fund. When we finally met Mr. Downing in person to thank him and his firm, he told us he was simply doing his job. I cried then too.

Andrew and his team were beyond wonderful taking the reins on my shoulder injury case from a vaccine injury. I can’t thank them enough for all of their hard work and efforts over the last two years working tirelessly to get this settled.

Drew is literally the best human on the planet. He just switched to his own practice and I’ve worked with him for over 10 years. Yes, 10! He knows more about medical than me and I’m a nurse. I have had my fair share of experience with lawyers through the needs of many family members.
