I found Aaron by googling DUI attorneys. Aaron was a great attorney! He I stayed in good communication with me and he was able to get the DUI charge dismissed with no criminal conviction, only a civil for running a red light. He did an amazing job negotiating my case and I would recommend him to anyone in need of an attorney.

We found Mr. Black through his reviews online. He immediately responded to our initial inquiry and was readily available throughout this difficult process. Mr. Black made sure we understood what was going to happen and how to best prepare for what the courts would like to see. He advised our son to take auto alcohol classes, he succeeded in having our son's DUI dismissed and the case reduced to reckless driving, and no jail.

At first Aaron can come off as brass, and he sometimes speaks off the cuff. This was my first impression of the guy. I didn't know what to think of it so I spoke to my best friend of 10+ yrs about that very thing and he said "stick with this guy I like him". I'm so glad that I did b/c Aaron is honest and he will defend you as far as the law will allow him. He does his homework and I couldn't be happier with the way my case turned out b/c of his work. I recently put myself in a bad situation after getting arrested for a DUI in Phoenix as an out of state resident. BAC 0.17 at the scene and BAC 0.19 at the station. I had no idea what to expect and was suddenly faced with some horrible consequences. I began researching and looking at reviews of lawyers in the area and came across Aaron Black. I explained my situation and he instantly told me what the reality was likely to be once everything was finalized. Which was a sudden relief and when we finalized HE WAS COMPLETELY RIGHT. Through the whole process,every question I had would be answered by Aaron within minutes. This made the worrying of situations instantly better. Aaron was beyond what I expected for keeping in contact and I found this to be HUGE being an out of state resident. My end results was -Jail for a few hours -Home arrest for 7 days -Court fines -36 hours of Dui classes -Interlock in my vehicle for 12+ months The jail for a few hours was a life saver for me resulting in me being able to keep my employment,fines and realistically not being in jail. Even as a first time offender, I could be looking at 30+ days for an extreme DUI. Another suggestion Aaron Black made was to not test my blood taken from the station due to the fact that if my 0.19 blood came back higher that would push me into the 0.20 (super extreme DUI) which I agreed was definitely something I wanted to stay away from. When I was finalized in court,the judge also said to Aaron and I that it was good we did not test the blood due to possibility of putting myself into a WAY worse situation. To anyone considering Aaron Black. I can not thank him enough for all his of his help and how calming he made this horrible situation. I would BEYOND recommend him for anyone caught in a rough scenario and I couldn't have imagined this going as smooth as it did with anyone else.

Aaron stayed in communication with me all the way through the process, he advised me to reject the plea and just plea to the court to get a reduced jail sentence and home detention. We were able to keep my jail time and home detention at the minimum when the State wanted much more. He also advised me to be proactive and get my alcohol treatment classes completed before changing my plea and sentencing. He encouraged me to start community service and attend a MADD impact panel to show the judge I was taking this quite seriously. Aaron Black is an excellent trustworthy attorney worth every cent of his reasonable fee. After checking the reviews of MANY attorneys, I chose Aaron to represent my son who had recently received an extreme DUI in Tempe. I found Aaron by looking at Aavo web site. I looked for an attorney that had recent reviews and good positive feedback. My son had a car accident, hitting an undercover cop and then failing the field sobriety test. His blood work came back in at slightly above .08. However we had an independent test done right after the police blood test and Aaron was able to hire an expert to give us the testimony we would need at trial that my son's independent blood test was below a .08. This was enough for Aaron to negotiate a plea deal of reckless driving instead of the DUI. This saved us quite a bit, including avoiding the ignition interlock, and the additional insurance.
