Jenny explained every step of the process in layman's language. She is an expert in collaborative divorce, and I appreciated her honest opinions and excellent guidance. He office staff is also wonderful.

Divorce and a custody battle can be a very scary time. When I filed for divorce, I had 2 young boys and was 3 months pregnant. My children's father had a history of dependency issues with drugs and alcohol, and a case with CPS for child neglect [which he had called on himself for leaving our 2 year old home alone]. After counseling and many other attempts to save the family I had had enough for my sake and my children's well being. This law firm had come highly recommended to me and I retained Kathy as my attorney. She presented herself as classy and professional, while my ex husbands attorney was a bull dog and was willing to play dirty. For the hearing for the Temporary Orders, I was told by Kathy to agree to everything my ex was asking for when it came to custody because we could always change it for the final orders. However, even after documenting all the "no shows" and late visits from their father, when it came time for the final orders I was told it's too late and just to "work with him". Also, she told me that if we had gone back before the judge he would get "50/50" custody, and it would just cost me more money. After the Temporary Orders, I was left with 100% of our joined bills because my main concern was only for the children's safety and custody issues, so we didn't "court order" an agreement of our bills. I was not advised that this could be an issue until I was screwed over financially. I spent 8K with this law firm to agree to everything the opposing party asked for in the divorce. Meanwhile, I am forced to hand my children over to a neglectful drug addict every week. If you're looking for someone to fight for you in the best way for your family, look elsewhere.

Gave her a 30,000 retainer. She disobeyed my instructions and used it up in 3 weeks. Could not even make it to trial. All these good reviews are fake, this woman is a criminal. Massive over billing and collusion with Todd Franks, another criminal attorney. These people have no integrity and line their pockets at the expense of families. She is a terrible person.

Stephan Smith was a constant voice of reason and really got me through a very dark time. Extremely professional and kind hearted.

Stephen Smith and his staff are absolutely the best. I spent lots of money and time with a prior attorney who did not submit paperwork, did not notify witnesses, etc. My only regret is that I didn't have Steve handling my case from the beginning.

Jenny Gadow is a top notch family attorney. I found her accommodating and very easy to work with, she is also exceptional in the court room. She really shines!! When you need a family attorney your are typically trying to negotiate two forms of stress, Financial Stress and Emotional Stress. Let's face it, no attorney is going to keep that financial stress from being parked right up there at or around a 10, not a good one anyways. But on a scale of 1-10, Jenny really helped me keep my emotional stress down to a one or zero. She is worth a look and if there were 6 or 7 stars I'd rate her that high, but alas, only 5 stars!! Jenny is great! To choose anyone else you are doing yourself a disservice.
