Stephen Smith and his staff are absolutely the best. I spent lots of money and time with a prior attorney who did not submit paperwork, did not notify witnesses, etc. My only regret is that I didn't have Steve handling my case from the beginning.

I am grateful for the legal advice and assistance from Steve Smith and his team during the divorce process. I felt very safe with his professionalism, knowledge and experience during a difficult time. He was honest, fair and straightforward in presenting options and in offering guidance to manage the many issues that arose. Jenny Gadow is a top notch family attorney. I found her accommodating and very easy to work with, she is also exceptional in the court room. She really shines!! When you need a family attorney your are typically trying to negotiate two forms of stress, Financial Stress and Emotional Stress. Let's face it, no attorney is going to keep that financial stress from being parked right up there at or around a 10, not a good one anyways. But on a scale of 1-10, Jenny really helped me keep my emotional stress down to a one or zero. She is worth a look and if there were 6 or 7 stars I'd rate her that high, but alas, only 5 stars!! Jenny is great! To choose anyone else you are doing yourself a disservice.

My attorney - James Cork was amazing, always keeping me informed and providing reasonable expectations; he specializes in family law and that is not just a title. James L. Cork II has been working with me on my family law case (child custody, parenting time, legal decision making & child support) for years now. Looking back at the very beginning of my case, I can clearly see mistakes made by my previous attorney that cost me dearly; don't make the same mistake of being underrepresented in family court. James Cork is extremely knowledgeable, professional and confident, which shows in court. He responds promptly to all emails and is very attentive to detail. One of his attributes I appreciate most, however, is that he doesn't sugar-coat; he instead offers a very honest and realistic perception of what is feasible and what is not and advises accordingly. I needed an attorney for my child custody case and was extremely scared, nervous and uneasy while starting this process. I have never been to court before and this being my first and only child, I wanted someone to place my full confidence and trust in with my sensitive and personal situation. As soon as attorney James Cork II took over my case all of my anxiety was gone. I am happy to say that I made the right choice with him. He has been very thorough while collecting and reviewing my documentation and extremely professional when explaining my options and the steps he was taking while representing me. Typical sharks. After a $300 consultation I was told the ridiculous retainer. If they are that good, it wouldn't take them that many hours for a straight forward case.
