Divorce and a custody battle can be a very scary time. When I filed for divorce, I had 2 young boys and was 3 months pregnant. My children's father had a history of dependency issues with drugs and alcohol, and a case with CPS for child neglect [which he had called on himself for leaving our 2 year old home alone]. After counseling and many other attempts to save the family I had had enough for my sake and my children's well being. This law firm had come highly recommended to me and I retained Kathy as my attorney. She presented herself as classy and professional, while my ex husbands attorney was a bull dog and was willing to play dirty. For the hearing for the Temporary Orders, I was told by Kathy to agree to everything my ex was asking for when it came to custody because we could always change it for the final orders. However, even after documenting all the "no shows" and late visits from their father, when it came time for the final orders I was told it's too late and just to "work with him". Also, she told me that if we had gone back before the judge he would get "50/50" custody, and it would just cost me more money. After the Temporary Orders, I was left with 100% of our joined bills because my main concern was only for the children's safety and custody issues, so we didn't "court order" an agreement of our bills. I was not advised that this could be an issue until I was screwed over financially. I spent 8K with this law firm to agree to everything the opposing party asked for in the divorce. Meanwhile, I am forced to hand my children over to a neglectful drug addict every week. If you're looking for someone to fight for you in the best way for your family, look elsewhere.

Gave her a 30,000 retainer. She disobeyed my instructions and used it up in 3 weeks. Could not even make it to trial. All these good reviews are fake, this woman is a criminal. Massive over billing and collusion with Todd Franks, another criminal attorney. These people have no integrity and line their pockets at the expense of families. She is a terrible person.

I retained Jenny many years ago to handle my divorce. She did a great job. Many years later, I'm a father embarking upon a custody battle and was referred to a different attorney who was a friend of a friend and had disastrous results. After that, I had to wait two long years before I could contest the previous ruling and try to undo the damage that was done. Jenny from the get go was a straight shooter who did a great job of managing my expectations so we could do focus our efforts on crafting a sound strategy to achieve what was actually winnable. Sure, her hourly rate was more than my previous attorney, but in the end, I spent less money and less time from initial filing to the day of the settlement and avoided the stress of another trial. She and her team were completely on the ball from start to finish. You can't go wrong with Jenny in your corner. She is as smart and as tough as they come. Don't make the same mistake I did. Divorce and custody cases are two of life's most stressful situations. Hire her.. You'll be much better off for having done so.

Stephen Smith and his staff are absolutely the best. I spent lots of money and time with a prior attorney who did not submit paperwork, did not notify witnesses, etc. My only regret is that I didn't have Steve handling my case from the beginning.

My divorce could have been a script in Hollywood. Together with her team she guided me through a very difficult times. I would recommend her services, she won't sugarcoat anything, straight shooter, you may not like what she's telling at times, but what she says is always in your best interest.

Jennifer Gadow in one simple word is "Awesome"! From the first over the phone interview with Jenny, I was comfortable. I retained her over the phone in PA, as my case was very complicated. The case took well over a year and was extremely hard on all involved. She had to always remind me of the big picture as this was a very emotional case for me.
