When I first hired Cy to help me with a wage garnishment and outstanding credit debts, he was very responsive and answered my questions immediately. He stated that he would be able to promptly stop my wage garnishment and set up a payment plan through my creditor with both that debt and my other debt. Despite my underemployment, I managed to pull together several hundred dollars as a down payment to hire him and have him help me resolve my debt issues - expecting that I would more than make up for his fees with the savings I got from my outstanding debt. However, after a few weeks of regular communication, I stopped hearing from him. At first, I was told he was on vacation. Then, he was simply out of the office. After that, I stopped getting any responses whatsoever. Eventually, I heard back from him when he said he was having a hard time getting a response from my creditors but was still trying. I gave him a few weeks more while my paychecks were still being garnished at the original rate. Eventually, after I pleaded with him to do something, he managed to get my garnishment percentage dropped from 25% to 15% per paycheck. Hoping things were finally progressing, I continued to be patient with him. For the next few months, I once again got no response from him. I tried in vain several times to get any sort of reply, but he was of no help whatsoever. So, I finally decided to contact my creditor directly. I heard back from them less than two hours later and I was able to set up a payment plan on my own. Mr. Hainey told me he would get my garnishment taken care of immediately and save me significant money on my other debts. Not only have I had to pay the entire amount in full, I am also out the several hundred dollars I initially paid to him. I have been extremely disappointed and would not recommend working with Mr. Hainey to anyone.

Bruce was absolutely amazing and aggressive with my case from start to trial. He and his entire staff treated my case as if I was family and gave me the results I was seeking. Thank you so much.

Save your money, there are other attorneys that will actually work for you.

I appreciate the help that Mr. Hainey and Ms. Megan extended me. I loved the fact that he was angrier than I was with my former employer. Where I lessened what happened at work- Mr. Hainey and his firm made me aware that I did what I was supposed to do and since the company failed to do their part, I shouldn't feel bad about hiring him. "I really feel bad about this, sir, but I don't have another option. I've spent what little I've had saved before the incident and now they've fired me." I felt bad about this whole ordeal, and was powerless to do anything. I literally had two multi-million companies bullying me. By the time I was dismissed from my employer, I had already hired and fired another attorney, lol. One from a great big prestigious firm. That attorney didn't have much fight in him. He wanted to just settle which is what I wanted; he just wasn't prepared to go further. Mr. Hainey was prepared to do so. In accepting my case, Mr. Hainey had to work alongside of another [Workers Comp] attorney. Together, they obtained a reasonable out of court settlement and helped me to put this all behind me.

I have known Bruce since 2005 as opposing counsel, boss, my attorney, and as a friend. As opposing counsel he was reasonable and ethical. Working with him every day I saw his dedication and skill. I thought that I was a great courtroom attorney until I saw him in the courtroom ten years ago. I then knew that I had room to grow. As my attorney, he went to trial in my legal decision making and parenting time matter and achieved exactly what I wanted to achieve. That rarely happens in Family Court, but Bruce did it.

This review is from an insider. I disclose that I am Attorney Brown’s paralegal. When I started working with Attorney Brown, I came with 22 years experience and thought I was good at my job. It amazes me how much I have learned in the past 3 years. With that said, I would like to share some insights. He is my favorite which is no secret if you have talked with me about him (and not because I am currently working for him). He amazes me professionally for many reasons. He is dedicated to his clients and his no non-sense approach saves client’s attorney fees. He has been able to pull off miracles in some cases due to his edge of having 31 years experience. There have been cases where I did not think we would be able to get a ruling in the client’s favor and Attorney Brown properly prepares for Court and the miracle occurs. Does this happen every time? No, but enough that I am proud to work with him. His approach is straight-forward and I cannot emphasize enough how much this saves in attorney fees. I will end this review with saying Attorney Brown is an exceptional attorney and I am blessed to be part of his team.
