Terrible lawyer. Makes a ton of promises after collecting a $6500 retainer. Told me I was guaranteed 50/50 and that my kids mom would be paying me child support. Did not get 50/50 and I am still paying child support. Don’t waste your money and find a better attorney.

Craig and Leslie were very helpful in navigating the process of divorce and explaining the steps. Ultimately we dealt with a hostile and aggressive lawyer who tried to take me to the cleaners and strip me of my right to make decisions in regard to my children. This ended up in court after mediation was unsuccessful. The judge was not impressed with the opposing attorney gamesmanship and posturing I got favorable judgement regarding decision making, alimony and child support. The opposing attorney sold herself as the ‘go to’ attorney who can get my ex upward deviation on child support but this also did not happen.

Craig Cherney is a very competent and thorough attorney who will give your legal matter the attention and analysis needed for the best, but also the most realistic, resolution. He also has a good sense of how that matter will progress until finished. Craig also has a comprehensive understanding of Arizona law with respect to divorce and real estate matters. After spending money and wasting time getting no where with my initial attorney, I sought out other options. I was referred to Craig by a friend. Please consider why Diana might get ANY bad reviews! In case you can't figure it out, being really good at family law means that you will inevitably piss the other half of the equation off. And, since matters of the family are so emotional and near to the heart, there is going to be backlash. In fact, I'd be willing to predict that many of the bad reviews are from women who have lost to her in court... "hell hath no fury than a women scorned". Diana is an amazing lawyer who doesn't just seek to represent anyone for the sake of money. In fact, I have come to realize that while she does have a great number of wealthy clients, she values all of her clients the same. In fact, I would venture to say that since she has such a heart for matters of the family, and all things wholesome and true, she doesn't care to look at the $ behind each scenario. Instead, I believe she takes on cases that have the heart of morality; what's best for the family/children, most. And, this was certainly true with my case. I will keep it short in stating that after 18 years of what most thought to be a stellar marriage, mental illness crept in and created an absolute monster in my ex. wife. To exasperate the situation, she was/is in complete denial of the massive wake that she is leaving behind her. And, as such, she continually ratcheted up the attacks on me, my kids, my extended family, and our closest friends… I am talking dirty, unrivaled, conniving attempts to sabotage, demean, slander, demoralize, and emotionally exhaust anything that is good. In all the chaos and uncertainty, Diana was there. Yes, she was there for the family court process, the hearing, the litigation, and the filings, etc.; but, unlike most other lawyers, she was also there ethically and morally. She was not only capable in the matters of a nasty divorce that one cannot prepare for and that are unseen, but she was extraordinary in being able to assist in communicating these things to her client so that I could mentally, emotionally, and physically prepare for what was to come. Hearing how the process will transpire, what to expect, and even predicting what a crazy spouse will likely try next - these are the things that aid in Diana's invaluable resource as a family law lawyer. I cannot speak highly enough of the women, lawyer, communicator, and defender of morality/justice that Diana is, and I would recommend her to any of my closest friends and relatives. Craig Cherney has been my attorney for the past 4 and a half years and his knowledge and expertise have been above and beyond my expectations. In late 2016 I had seen multiple attorneys to help me get custody of my daughter. None of them were able to provide advice that I could use. I retained Diana for a family matter. She is non responsive to phone, text and email communications, questions and more importantly taking actions. She does not follow through with what she said she was going to file and constantly gives excuses for not doing it. She is non responsive with opposing councel, which can be detrimental to your case and does not go well with the judge, which means that Negatively affects your legal matters. I hared another attorney to clean up the mess. Your valuable family matters MUST be in the hands of a reputable attorney! Please don't make our mistake of hiring this attorney!
