Scott represented me when a debt collection agency attempted to collect a non-recourse mortgage debt (violating the FDCPA) on behalf of their lender. He was helpful and generally forthright about the topic at hand and how to engage with the agency and even helped me pursue damages. One thing Scott did really well was helping me understand my options and the trade offs with each approach. I was really glad to have Scott on my side throughout this matter. I have put off my estate planning for years because I just didn't have the time.....with the recent COVID-19 pandemic, my husband and I felt we couldn't wait any longer. We hired Scott to complete our Last Will and Testaments. He suggested we also complete our Living Wills, and Power of Attorney at the same time. This took 2 phone calls and about 6 emails. Scott was very responsive, ask pertinent questions, and explained everything succinctly. It actually took more time to have the documents notarized.
