I contacted Karen for some legal advice and I am so relieved I did. Karen listened thoroughly, asked all the right questions, and was able to come up with a great game plan for me to follow with easy directions and sound advice. I could tell it was important to her that I not only got correct and helpful information but that I also understood everything she told me. Karen made this daunting process of estate planning very simple and easy to understand. The process comes with combing through a lot of information and vernacular we are not familiar with while making sure we are making sound decisions for our family. Karen was there every step of the way, offering sound advice but still allowing us to make decisions that made sense for our family. I receive legal services (Hyatt Legal) as an elected paid part of my company's benefit plan. I recently called Hyatt and they gave me the contact information of several lawyers in my area who specialize in Trusts, Wills, Medical Power of Attorney, Living Wills, and Financial Powers of Attorney. I reviewed all the choices and after assessment, I selected and called Karen Richmand. Karen responded quickly, was very pleasant on the phone, was knowledgeable, communicative, and answered several preliminary questions I posed. At our initial appointment, Karen was professional, amiable, organized and a strategic estate planner. She asked appropriate questions that allowed me to plan my future accordingly. I found her to be very helpful in this regard. She drew up all legal paperwork and addressed all concerns prior to my signing. Additionally, she went above and beyond by filing official forms to have my home entered into a trust with the County. At the conclusion of the signing, she gave me a tabbed binder with the original documents organized and easily locatable. Later she sent me PDF's as copies.
