The attorney, assigned to my civil traffic photo radar violation of failing to stop for a red light, did excellent work convincing the court to dismiss the charge against me. Corso Law Group could not guarantee a win but a win was achieved. Thank Corso Law Group.

After my experience with this firm I am extremely disappointed (I wish I could put zero stars). For the duration of my time with Corso Law Group, which was a short amount of time, I can say that after the start of services things started to go downhill QUICKLY. I spoke to the attorney 2x (never returned my calls) in this time and it was very brief both times. EXTREME lack of communication. They did go see my fiancé, who was incarcerated, immediately but that was the most time efficient task done during this time. My fiance and myself decided to terminate the client-attorney relationship and after that things, all of a sudden, started to get done (phone calls, motions filed, etc...) even though we specifically stated that we had new counsel.
This was the tip off the iceberg for this negative review.**
I found it interesting in my final phone call with the firm, that they were making negative comments in regards to our new counsel ("never heard of them," "If they do it faster than us don't expect him to get out," etc...). As a professional, you just don't do that. They gave us little hope for our future with the case. Told us he was looking at a LOT of time. Well surprise, a week after discharging the relationship from this firm, he was home with no additional jail time and probation!
Mr. Corso also made two comments that stood out to me "we are all human" and "it's not about the money for us." I found that to be completely disturbing due to the lack of empathy being shown. Yes we are all human, I paid a large amount of money up front in a timely manner and was told I would not get this money back for 30 days! For "not being about the money" that is completely excessive in the amount of time needed to refund my money. Yes we are all human, we all have bills to be paid and a life to be able to live being that we have the finances to support ourselves. I asked if there was a chance for it to be returned to me in a timely manner and was basically told, you'll get it in 30 days read your contract. The manager was very rude in her responses.
**I failed to get the check in the mail until I WENT to Arizona (From New Mexico) and picked it up ourselves after they "sent it" two times. Also, the charges on my accounting were ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. (2 were the the biggest of fraud accounting) They charged us for a 3 hour jail visit which he only saw my fiance for 30 minutes tops and literally only had my fiance sign papers and spoke very briefly. (I know it does not take 3 hours total with drive time because I google mapped it and drove it myself). They charged us 2.5 hours for court, which he was LATE and only continued the court date. He also disclosed that he "was attending other court sessions for other clients, but out of the 15 minutes he was there we got charged for him being there for everyone. MONEY HUNGRY!
Very Very Very Very Very Disappointed. Very Unprofessional.
All of this aside, thanks to our NEW counsel, my fiancé is now home and I am VERY happy with the decision I made to terminate services with Corso Law.
Much to our surprise, We also found this out about the attorney with Corso who was assigned to our case.
James N. Hankey, Phoenix, was suspended for violating Rule 42, ARIZ.R.S.CT., specifically ERs 5.5 and 8.4(b).
Mr. Hankey intentionally used methamphetamines for approximately two years. He negligently engaged in the unauthorized practice of law while he was summarily suspended for not paying bar dues.
Aggravating factor: Illegal conduct, including that involving the use of controlled substances.
Mitigating factors: full and free disclosure to
disciplinary board or cooperative attitude toward proceedings, absence of prior disciplinary record, chemical dependency, and remorse.

Atty Damon Petrehn was exceptional. I felt like I was fighting a losing battle with my photo radar but I was desperate so I thought I would take a chance, boy am I glad I did. He got a complete dismissal. his office staff was great and he exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Atty Petrehn to anyone dealing with a traffic offense, he was worth every penny.

Me and my husband went to their office for consultation about our situation, they were very nice, helpful and honest to us, they gave us very useful advises and if we needed an attorney in the future, sure, we will go to them again.

My attorney was Damon Petrehn. He was GREAT! Super friendly, made me feel important. He took care of everything for me and just told me when to show up for court. I had to go to court in Kingman, AZ. He was able to negotiate with the officer and settle for a lesser charge which saved me some serious points and serious cash on my insurance. He walked me through everything and really prepared me for what was going to happen in the court room. After everything was settled and done he even looked up a radar ticket for me that I had gotten a while back. Would very much recommend their services.

Prior to my hearing i was always kept up to date on my case by Karolina.Due to Karolinas avalabilty on my court date they assigned a different lawyer Damon Petrehn.I have to say i was a bit concerned.I had spoken with damon the day prior to my hearing and on the day of my hearing.I have to say i was not feeling to confident.WOW Damon Petrehn was great the arguments he addressed were legitiment and on point, very professional.I was very pleased at the outcome.Thank you Corso,Rhude and staff.I would definitly recommend!

All I can say is Wow! John Rhude and his staff are a cut above. By far the most down-to-earth law firm I have ever worked with. With his personal attention and their overall attentiveness to my case, I am always amazed at how effortless they make it for me. John is a "No BS" kind of guy. He broke everything down for me one-on-one, and personally formulated a plan of attack for my defense like only a seasoned veteran could. I am a repeat client, and whether it's been a speeding ticket, or a more serious offense, John and his team have always risen above the call of duty. It makes me feel good that I always have someone to call if I'm in trouble. John, truly my thanks. You guys are the best!

I had a great experience with this law firm. I recommend them to everyone. My legal team was experienced and worked hard for me. If you need a lawyer consider this firm.
I liked the fact that they were dependable and always had the answers. I was living out of state at the time and it was important for me that I knew my lawyer and team had everything under control.
Thank You,
Brent - Scottsdale
