I had a great experience working with Paul Friedman. One of the things that stood out for me was how he took my case personal and made me feel he was giving it his all. Always making sure that deadlines were met in a timely manner. Always checking if I was okay which is something I don’t hear other peoples experience with law firms. I have a lot of mental illness already and now physical ailments due to a couple car accidents that Gabe from ALG helped me out with. Gabe made it pretty stress free and maintained contact for the duration of the services. Every body I worked with was nice and fairly easy to get a hold of. Also they did help me get treatment for my injury’s. However I’m not convinced that the negotiations with the insurance company went as well as they could have. Also, part of what they do is negotiate with the health care providers to lower your medical bills. The initial chiropractor bill was negotiated down by about 25%. I then contacted the chiropractor that I had seen and found out that the negotiated rate was almost 300% higher than the regular rate per visit. They sent me an itemized bill and I was charged for several adjustments that did not happen. I contacted the lawyer and told them that this was not acceptable. I understand paying a premium for delayed payment but 300% is ridiculous. They went back and negotiated it down another 25%. Just makes me wonder how much has been left on the table for other clients due to over paying medical providers?
